My AC went out and my husband bought this to fix it. We had used a friends before but figured it was time to own one for ourselves. We are happy that it comes with a storage box where everything has its own spot inside. It makes it easy for storing away in the garage or in tool boxes. I personally like that the box is blue instead of black or red like most other specialized tool storage boxes so it makes it easy to spot when trying to find it or explain it to someone else that may be looking for it for you. The price was good and the quality seems as good as the auto part store ones. My husband thinks the gauges read accurately with no issues because my AC works again and haven’t had issues yet. Definitely recommend any handyman or handywoman buy this item because you never know when you’ll need it! You definitely save money fixing the AC yourself instead of hiring someone to do it!

Works great. Used it yesterday to add freon to my son's car. I espically like the sight glass on the guages to see the freon physically go in the car.

Addendum -- very responsive customer service. I got a replacement high pressure coupler after my first 2 star review. Therefore, I am upgrading it to 4 star. You just cannot expect top quality for low prices. 11/24/2019 It is not an expensive set, but the high pressure coupler spring is weak. It does not snap tight after a few uses. The connectors are also a bit loose. I have to hold it while charging refrigerant to prevent leakage. It gets my job done, but I think that it will not last long due to its low quality.

I am a retired ASE Certified Master Technician; I needed a set of A/C Gauges and ordered this set. It was priced very attractively and worked great. It came with all the adapters I needed to hook up to R12, R134, R22, and worked perfectly for my needs.

I needed a set of gauges to replace a set that were borrowed and never returned (shame on me). I am a 40+ year heavy truck technician (retired) so I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a new set of professional Master Cool gauges at my age. I saw this set for a very good price and decent reviews so I took a chance. I used them today and they worked very well for what I needed then for. There were two minor things that I had happen to me during my first use worth mentioning. The first was that the hoses loosen up way too easily on the quick connect fittings every time you move the gauge set around. I had it blow some refrigerant out of the system before I could get to the fitting to tighten it (and frost burned my hand reaching in there). The other thing is the can tap is terrible. It took me 3X as long as it should have to put one 12oz can in the system the way it trickles through the tap. If you buy this set, just buy a better can tap. No big deal. I still recommend these for occasional use once in a while. They just are not for made for everyday use as a professional technician.

My local auto store was selling twice more and longer shipping. Overall, this gauge worked perfect. Do your own research prior to using. If you need to check freon and pressure level in your AC, this is the best way. Those little freezer cans with built in gauge are convenient but can cause more damage to your AC. Save yourself the headache and costly repairs. Do it yourself!
