My wife is Chinese, and she needs a device that can record the discussion in a class and translate the recording later. This device has that feature, but it didn't work as well as we thought. We are returning this device, and looking for a suitable replacement.Pros:* Does one-on-one translation very well.* Has long battery life.* Is compact and light weight.Cons:* The menus default to Chinese, so if you can't read Chinese you won't be able to navigate the menus. The menus can be changed to English, but you need to navigate the Chinese menus to find the menu language setting screen.* The "record" function did not work well, it required the volume of the speakers to be very high, and it did not translate correctly.

I bought one for my father. This voice translator is very thin, like a mobile phone in the pocket. It seems to have a similar operating systems to Android/IOS phones. It's light and it has a very loud speaker, which is very suitable for older people because it's easy to listen. The loudspeaker design appears to be able to clearly distinguish your voice and record and translate it in a noisy environment. The most convenient thing means that you don't need to download APP to your mobile phone. You have an obligation to link mobile card or wireless network. It has a touch screen on the device.For older people, keys are very simple and easy to operate. It appears to have been a long battery life. Even though it was completely charged, I ran for a week. It can be converted in 32 different languages.As I am used, it seems to translate most words correctly. There are definite words that I can't translate correctly. I don't know when I will use the particular word, but it can do it. I've tested words and phrases that are more accurate than mobile translation software, Such as where is your bathroom, where is the train station, and how to do this street? Where is the gas station? Where is the Museum, there is no problem with all the correct translation. Set the WIFI connection and press the corresponding button to start talking, and then leave you.It requires a WI-FI connection, so if you're not a place without WI-FI, you can connect it to your phone and use it as a mobileHotspot.You can aslo connect it directly into your phone card. Better and more accurate translation.In a short, It can be very satisfied with this product. I recommend that you have to see the instruction in the beginning. There will be more detail explanation. There will be so full in the setting. And I'm excited to see that the device supports to upgrade automatically. Thanks to the development company, because I travel, even go to work. It is a very suitable product.

Not working. Started up with a menu that had the translation buttons on the screen but, didn't understand English or Spanish. Then, out of nowhere the translator screen disappeared and the menu looks like a mobile phone with no clear way to translate any language. Instructions don't reflect any of the screens I'm looking at with this device. I might be missing something but, highly disappointed with this product. Terrible. Not simple at all. Sending it back....

OMG this is the best investment I had made on translator device. I was unsure on traveling to Italy or not next spring. But with this translator im definitely going with my friends. With this device I can travel like a local resident in Korean. Its arrived easier than estimated delivery day. I tried it with my korean friend and she understood every word that was being translated from this device. I actually talked her into buying one for herself for our next Italy trips, lol. Theres is so many different languages thats being offer on one small device. The setup were easy.

Says it Support’s Norwegian but it does not!
