ESR Geo Digital iPad Pencil for iPad 2018-2026, Find My, Easy Shortcuts

I never used that ability to tap to undo or whatever on my Apple Pencil. That being said, this pencil also has those features. But as I didn’t use that anyway, this pencil is ridiculously amazing and cost effective. It pairs soooo easily, works perfectly, is prettier than Apple pencils but has the same shape, comes with 3 additional tips, has palm rejection and is basically the same as buying an Apple Pencil for a fraction of the price. I lost my Apple Pencil which is why I bought this one. The reason I bought this was cuz I kept losing my pencil cuz the magnet where you charged it wasn’t strong enough and the pencil always fell off. So, instead, I just got a little pencil holder for the back of my iPad and slip this pencil right in. I can’t express enough how much I love it. If you are an artist, it might not work as well for you cuz I don’t think it has has pressure sensitive lines that get thinner or thicker with more pressure but I hate that anyway and it didn’t work for me so, again, this is the BEST!

I purchased this stylus for my 4th-generation iPad Pro because my device is not compatible with the newer Apple Pencil Pro. Additionally, I have a tendency to misplace my Apple Pencils from time to time. While I usually find them eventually, I prefer having a reliable and affordable backup option available when I need one. What impressed me most about this stylus is how closely it resembles the original Apple Pencil in both appearance and feel. The weight, texture, and overall design are remarkably similar, making it comfortable and familiar to use. It integrates seamlessly into my workflow and delivers a writing and navigation experience that closely mirrors the genuine Apple Pencil. The build quality is excellent for the price, and the performance has exceeded my expectations. Whether I am taking notes, navigating my iPad, or completing everyday tasks, the stylus performs consistently and reliably. Let me start by saying the price is a steal! I was debating whether to get this or the original and i don't regret getting this one. It works really well, charges very fast, and I like that it comes with a charger and extra pencil points. It connects to your iPad very easily. I really recommend you getting this product.

I was looking for something similar to an Apple Pencil, without the price tag. This one connects very easily via Bluetooth. It doesn’t work if not connected and powered on, so keep that in mind. If the battery dies on the pencil, it is now a stick lol. But it has a quick charge via USB-C (took about 15 minutes to go from 11-100%). The little silicone cover they put over the charging port is not great. It ripped the first time I tried removing it. Oh well. It’s just a small dust cover anyway. It has a magnetic design that allows it to be stored on my iPad mini A17 Pro in the slot in my case. It’s secure. I am only really using this as a stylus/mouse. I haven’t tried any drawing or writing or anything else needing precise accuracy, so I can’t get into details with that. It does easily hit the small links in websites. It makes little chimes when it connects to your device so you can tell it’s connected. It sleeps when it’s not being used. It has a button on the top of the pencil, like a multifunction button. It’s the power button, when the pencil is on, it functions as a “home” button, bringing you to your Home Screen with a single push. I don’t think this is a flaw for the pencil, but more for iPad OS. When using the pencil, and you need to type, the keyboard that pops up when you click into a text field, is about the size of the keyboard on my iPhone. Not ideal for the larger iPad screen. So I just turn the pencil off if I need to type. Overall, it’s a decent device accessory that I would buy again if I needed to. I just provided the white one, but there are different colors available. If you are like me, just looking for a slightly advanced stylus, and don’t need the different pressure settings of the Apple Pencil Pro, go with this one. Saves some money over the Apple Pencil USB-C.

This pencil writes extremely well. I like how you can turn it on and off and use the button to multi task through different screens. It also lets you use different generations of iPad. Apple forces you to buy a new Apple pencil when you get a new iPad but this works universally between different generations. Highly recommended at the fraction of the cost of an Apple Pencil.

Just purchased and pleasantly surprised. Mainly wanting an affordable alternative to the Apple Pencil since I don’t know how or if I will use it but loving it so far and that it can easily be synced with find my. It’s working great and the charge last a while, it’s magnetic and fits perfectly in my case! love the color and overall look

If all you need for your new iPad is a stylus for writing, highlighting, or tapping icons when navigating, you can’t go wrong with this ESR stylus at $32 (as of 8/5/25). The stylus has a decent weight - heavier than some cheap styluses but not as substantial as the Apple Pencil Pro. Writing and highlighting works fine. The stylus attaches magnetically to your iPad (although the USB-C port cover does get in the way and leaves the stylus sitting not quite flat against your iPad). There are a couple of limited functions built in to the button on the end of the stylus including return to Home Screen and display your open apps. Charging speed seems as fast as advertised although I have not had the stylus long enough to determine battery life. There are, however, quite a number of features you sacrifice for a stylus at this price. You get none of the gesture controls of the Apple Pencil Pro such as double-tapping or rotation for menus. When set aside for a while, even when magnetically attached to your iPad, this stylus will go to sleep and you have to click the button end to wake it from sleep. If you’re an artist, unless you give this stylus some time to get used to AND an Apple Pencil Pro is well above your budget, you might want to pass on this and go for the Pencil Pro. Pressure sensitivity levels and tilt are okay but when testing this stylus in Affinity Designer and Sketchbook while the stylus draws lines smoothly, there is some noticeable jitter and line thickness is not 100% consistent. So, in the end, you have to consider the price of this stylus and its “just enough” basic functionality versus the price and feature set of the Pencil Pro. I think for most folks, especially if you didn’t spend a lot on a pricey new iPad Pro, this stylus will be fine. IF you’re an artist and/or spent a lot for an iPad Pro, this isn’t the stylus you should use.

Qualidade boa, só demorou pra chegar. Até pensei que ia extraviar. Mas deu tudo certo. A caneta flui muito bem no iPad se tornando uma opção boa e mais econômica que entrega qualidade excelente para o que eu preciso.

Puntos positivos: - Alta previsión y velocidad de registro. - Registra inclinación. - Fácil emparejamiento. - Incluye la función Apple Find My (localizador). - Se pega magnéticamente a la tablet (pero no carga). - Viene en varios colores. - Alta calidad y funcionalidad a una fracción de precio del original de Apple. - Funciones de atajo si presionas el borrador una vez o dos veces. ¿Qué sacrificas comparado con el Apple Pencil Pro? - Carga ha de hacerse a través del USB-C. No carga si lo colocas sobre la tablet. Pero no es gran problema porque se carga rápidamente. - No registra presión. Esto tiene afectación más que todo si eres artista de dibujo. - Cuando está encendido brilla una luz LED azul. Puede distraerte. Para mí pequeñas concesiones por el gran ahorro de esta compra. Excellent pen. I have had no issues using this with my iPad Air m3. It worked straight out of the box and pairing was a doddle. The double click feature is very useful. I have even now bought the matching screen protector which makes writing even better. I still can’t believe it handles my bad handwriting lol.
