This is the only shampoo I’ve used for years now! My hair actually feels clean and it does such a good job of making my scalp and the top of my head not feel greasy. I love buying the large bottle with the pump which lasts forever and is a great value for how long it lasts. Would recommend if you’re looking for a new shampoo to try, especially if you have hard water.

Just moved and now have city water. Been spoiled for almost 18 years with a reverse osmosis system. My hair has looked greasy and plastered to my head and all the curl is gone and it’s shedding and brittle. Got a little bit better after using the shampoo the first two times, but today I’m officially three washes in and it is a metamorphosis. Light and fluffy and I’ve got curls that I didn’t even know I had. Looks better even than with the pure water. The shampoo is awesome. Finally something I spent some money on that I’m not disappointed with. I can’t imagine not re-ordering. I will definitely keep using this. But it did take a few washes to remove all the minerals before it looked this wonderful. Keep in mind I have zero product and it’s been hours since I washed it. I didn’t want to put my special oils or anything, and I just wanted to see the raw result.

I recently learned that clarifying and chelating your hair are actually two very different things. I already clarify with a clarifying shampoo, but my hair still never felt quite right, so I decided to try this to help remove hard-water minerals and metals from my hair. I have 3B/3C, fine, low-porosity curls with low-density hair, so I was honestly a little nervous that a chelating treatment would leave my hair feeling dry or stripped. It did the COMPLETE opposite. My curls feel healthier, my hair is noticeably shinier, and it genuinely feels like my hair has been detoxed. I’ve also been dealing with some breakage around my ears/hairline (possibly from product or makeup buildup in that area), and I’m hoping removing that buildup helps too. I followed it with my normal deep conditioner and leave-in, and there is a noticeable difference in the life and feel of my hair. My curls feel cleaner, healthier, and more alive without feeling dried out. If you have hard water and feel like your hair is clean but STILL just isn’t behaving the way it normally does, I definitely recommend giving this a try. I’m impressed!

I never leave reviews but I have to brag about this product! I’ve been showering with well water for awhile now and have never had any issues with my hair. We recently moved into our first house and since then my hair has been terrible!! After I would shower and my hair would dry it would be slimy and straw like. Greasy and dry if that makes sense. I thought I had no other options until I literally googled what would help. Did very little research and bought this shampoo on a whim. I just took my first shower with it and my hair is AMAZING. The softest it has been in awhile I am shocked! I used the shampoo and my own conditioner and it worked wonders so happy it worked definitely recommend! My only complaint and why I gave it 4 stars is the packaging was poor. Some of it leaked out of the bottle which is disappointing but still worth the purchase

Love this shampoo and conditioner ! Never thought than within a week I would see such a difference in my hair. My hairdresser told me my hair was dry and recommended this product. It put the moisture right back in within the week. My hair feels soft and silky. My brush goes right through. I told my friend about it and she is now ordering. Best purchase!

Great shampoo - Poor packaging! Repeat customer of the shampoo because of hard water BUT the cap was loose on the hard plastic bottle & there was no seal on the top & it was packed in the same box with other items. Half the shampoo leaked all over everything in the package.

This item is great. This is a repeat buy, but first from Amazon. The product itself has been a game changer for me. I have naturally “dirty” blonde hair, but also have extremely hard water with lots of iron that over time build up of those deposits turned my hair a very gross brassy color. Every time I went to the salon to try and color it to improve it, it turned a horrible ash/green. So after doing some research, I decided it was worth trying. It was wise investment, 💯! Full disclosure: I first bought the Hard Water Wellness kit, and have been using the shampoo (and conditioner) consistently since. My hair feels and looks better than it has in years. It’s a decent size bottle for what it does, and it has a yummy orange cream fragrance that is amazing! It’s worth every penny. The only issue I have with it coming from Amazon was that the cap was not sealed tight and some leaked out. Luckily, it was a short span of time to get to me and not much was lost to the box.

My hair looks so oily and dead but when I realized it's because of hard water and gave this shampoo a try, my hair went back to how it was before. This is now my standard shampoo and will buy more next time when I ran out of Malibu C shampoo again.

This is a great shampoo for medium or hard water areas. I use it once a week and my hair is noticable softer and my curls are much better behaved than ever. It's way more effective than any other "chelating" shampoo. But be careful: if your hair is dyed or coloured, this will strip it out!

Since we moved into a home in the country with well water, my hair has been horrible, like straw. Our water is so hard, full of minerals like calcium, iron, magnesium, etc. I've tried the Malibu C Hard Water shampoo 3 times now and it works! My hair is in much better condition. The shampoo has a very pleasant mild citrus type of scent that is not like heavy perfume. I can't tolerate heavy artificial scents as I am very sensitive to them. This one doesn't affect me at all in a negative way. I highly recommend this shampoo for anyone who is dealing with hard water.
