can i use this rws spring cylinder oil to lubricate my umarex dx17 spring powered airpistol and is it worth the money

This oil contains a rust preventative. The gas spring is a nitrogen charged cylinder. I use these cylinders where I work for die cushions and this oil is good for the seals.

Should this be used with the Umarex Octane .22 gas piston air rifle? I'm not sure if it has the same components of the spring rifles.

I used it on Ruger 22 cal break barrel. Gas piston air rifle, not so much.
