Quality and price is balanced.
Im setting up a spa. This box is perfect with the shut off easy to see. Easy install along with 6/3 wiring. Exceeded expectations.

This is cheaply made.
I installed this disconnect in December of 2024 and in August of 2025 it burned one leg open. The disconnect is supposed to be rated for 60 Amps. I had it on a 40 Amp breaker so there should have been no issues. The disconnect was used for a solar inverter. I started getting arc faults and then it stopped working. So I guess you get what you pay for.

It's hard to remove the knockouts but works as intended.

Solid well built 60A disconnect switch
Solid well built disconnect switch. Purchased 60A instead of 30A to obtain oversized electrical contacts; this should equate to better performance and longer product life.

Loose wire lugs might cause arcing or even a fire
The wire lugs were very loose. I had to disassemble the switch and tighten the screws that connect the lugs onto the switch circuit. Otherwise there would have been arcing, perhaps even a fire. Sometimes the lugs are designed to be loose until the wire is clamped. But, this is not the case with this design. Otherwise, the switch works perfectly and I have no other complaints. Quality components, great price, just sloppy assembly.

company made it right
the first disconnect broke while installing (tighting wiring) and the company sent a replacement, we would purchase again

Defective contacts
I ordered two of these disconnects. Both did not work properly! With 25yrs experience in the electrical trade, I can say these switches are a poor design. The switching mechanism does not make proper contact with the line voltage contacts. I had to use needle nose pliers and bend the switching blades so they made proper contact. I also had to add electrical grease to make the other two contacts slide into place. Prior to manipulating the contacts, our two brand new rooftop units were not receiving proper voltage because of these. Iโve never had any disconnect out of the box do this. I guess thatโs my fault for buying something at a very low cost. Definitely would never buy these again.
