Amazing Hair Growth Shampoo!
I've been using the Dersie Batana Oil Shampoo for a few weeks, and I'm thrilled with the results! My hair feels thicker and healthier, thanks to the natural ingredients like Batana Oil, biotin, and essential oils. It's sulfate-free and paraben-free, making it gentle on my scalp while retaining moisture. Plus, it's suitable for all hair types—my husband loves it too! Highly recommend this shampoo for anyone looking to boost hair growth and improve overall hair health!

Makes my hair feel full and thick!
Very minimal frangrance smell, but makes your hair feel smooth and hydrated after only 2 washes. I think it's the biotin ingredient that gives it that full strength feeling. Would definitely buy again!

I like the way it lather my hair and gives my hair a healthy look, but I haven’t used it that much because I just recently purchased it

Average, everyday shampoo.
I am not convinced this helps for hair growth, so I have gone back to using Nioxin. This is thick and creamy, it lathers well and it didn't smell bad. So if you are looking for a shampoo that is natural this might be the one for you.

Excellent product
This product is exceptional! It nourishes hair, leaving it healthy and in excellent condition. Unlike other shampoos, it eliminates the need for conditioner. I’ve also noticed a significant reduction in hair shedding since I started using it.

Silky smooth salon feel
While I can’t speak for hair growth aspect of the product just yet I will say that I’m on three days of washing my hair with it and my hair feels like I’ve just left the salon! I have never found a product that makes my hair feel so soft without it quickly turning greasy. So far so very very good!

Damaged hair is so much stronger and healthier - visibly shinier!
I have hair that I regularly abuse with both bleach and dye, and have been trying to recover my hair health over time. I've used various products and used batana oil in another form which was too oily, but this is a gorgeously nourishing product. Pros: • Works up to a lovely lather • Leaves hair feeling super soft • Hair looks shiny and healthier just after one wash Cons: • Cost may put some people off I've been using this shampoo for a few weeks now, and choose to use it every other wash so I don't get through it too quickly. Usage: The directions state to massage a "proper" amount into warm wet hair for 3-5 minutes. The shampoo itself has a gel-like temperature, which feels slightly thick but surprisingly lathers up nicely, which makes it feel really nice to continue to massage into your scalp. It washes out fairly seamlessly and doesn't take too much to rinse, and my hair feels squeaky clean after so the oils don't grease up the hair or require hot water to rinse like some others do - it behaves like a normal shampoo. Ingredients: The ingredients look good - rosemary is something I try to integrate into my routine every now and then for hair growth. It's packed full of nutrients and vitamins, and beneficial botanicals like tea tree and ginger. It also has the moisturising ingredients like the oils which to me are the biggest selling point. It's free of parabens and sulfates so ideal for thin, damaged hair like mine and doesn't weigh it down. Effectiveness: When I say my hair feels soft I'm not exaggerating. It's luxurious after using this shampoo, and I do leave it on for the full 5 minutes. My scalp feels a lot cleaner but moisturised, and my hair looks like I've just had a treatment. I've had a visible shine since starting to use this and it has softened any damage that was appearing in the layers around my face. Very impressed with how quickly it worked and the fact it moisturises with oils without adding any grease. Verdict: If you have fine, shorter coloured hair like mine, don't be afraid of this. It's honestly probably the best strengthening shampoo I've used, and my hair loves it. I can't say whether my hair has grown quicker but it certainly feels like it might have - it's looking so much healthier now. Very pleased and highly recommended.

Nice soft hair
Have used this 14 times , and leaves my hair feeling soft. It has a pleasant smell when using it, but once rinsed off can`t smell anything. I have short hair and after 14 uses there is still two thirds left, it lathers up well , even though we live in a hard water area. I don`t need much of it each time I use it, so it should last me a while. Instructions say to massage it into your hair and scalp for 3 to 5 minutes, which is a long time to do that even on the 3 minutes, so turn off the water. Once I have done that I leave it on my hair whilst I finishes off my shower to keep it on longer, and then a final rinse. It may be too soon to say if it does make any difference , but saying that it does appear to help my hair look a bit more thicker, than it used too.

Very gloppy shampoo.
The first thing I noticed about this shampoo is it’s not exactly an inviting colour , sort of muddy brown , however hopefully this is because it does not contain all the cosmetics add ons on high street brands, colours , fragrance etc. It states it contains 100% pure Batana oil and biotin that should nourish and revitalise your hair . I must admit I was rather surprised to see the amount of ingredients listed on the shampoo box once the shampoo arrived ( please see attached photo ) My hair is thin , always has been but as I have got older I have noticed it more , so I’m am happy to try any shampoo that suggests it helps with hair thinning. The shampoo to me does not have any fragrance that I can notice , it suggests you use a proper amount of shampoo?? so I started off with a small amount as most good shampoos need very little to make a good lather, but I did need to add more to my head. I was slightly disappointed I didn’t get that tingly feeling after leaving the shampoo on my head for several minutes. My hair after I had washed it was very fluffy , I did not notice it was any shinier than normal , it may have been because I did not use my normal hair conditioner 🤷♀️ For these reason I have only given three stars , however I will continue to use the shampoo but with my normal conditioner and if I notice my hair is less fluffy and more shiny I will add a footnote to my review. Footnote -: after using this shampoo a couple of times more with my normal conditioner I am much happier with the results and have increased to four stars .

No idea if this works.
FYI I am mid-60s and have fine hair - baby fine, shiny and very soft. It's a nightmare to style as I have very little volume but I have to say that it's now thinning quite noticeably. Batana oil seems to be having a bit of a moment - it's also called ojon oil and is pressed from the American palm plant. Does it work? Well the jury's still out on that one, some studies say because it's rich in anti-oxidants it may reduce scalp dryness, some studies say it's no better than many other botanicals used in haircare. Whatever, I'm prepared to give it a try. This is sold as a shampoo for hair loss and thinning hair, so it's worth trying out. There's very little scent - what little there is had, to my nose, a slightly 'earthy' or 'dusty' scent - not unpleasant but I definitely noticed it. The instructions for use say to use a 'proper amount' - I really don't know what that means so I just used about what I'd normally use. The instructions also say to massage into scalp for 3-5 minutes which seems quite a long time to me. There was a lot of lather, so I'm going to say less is more when using this shampoo. I have to say that after washing my hair didn't look or feel any different than usual, but I think this is a 'long term use required' sort of product, and I couldn't honestly say if it's the ingredients or the length of massage that may stimulate growth. At £29.99 for 300ml (as at 8 February 2025) I think this is a bit on the pricey side, but if it works then who knows, it might be worth it, but at the moment I'm not convinced.

Love this!
✨️ The Batana Hair Shampoo comes in a 300ml bottle. It's a little on the pricey side especially for a shampoo, but I've been using the raw batana paste from the same brand and have absolutely loved it, so was eager to try this in shampoo form. It's lightly scented with a nice fragrance, it lathers up extremely well, so a little goes a long long way. I've been using this for about a month now and I really love it! It's a shampoo that doesn't dry my long hair out. Even before I use conditioner, my hair feels soft and not like straw like some shampoos make it. My hair feels stronger and has a wonderful shine to it. Not sure yet if it's grown much longer, but I love the instant results I get from using it each hair wash. Highly recommend!
