Solid and sturdy base. Perfect fit to our car seat.
We purched this car seat base for our second vehicle before the arrival of our son as we had purchased the Baby Trend stroller and car seat combo at our local Toys r us. It was very easy to find the correct base for our car seat through this sellers description and decided to purchase. The base came fast and was packaged in what looked to be an original Baby Trend box. I found the base to be lightweight and was able to instal the base with ease as it came with very clear instructions. The moment of truth came and we placed the car seat in the base and felt relieved when we heard the clear clicking sounds when the seat latched on perfectly and securley. The car seat felt very sturdy and secure. I would recommend this base to anyone needing a convenient and cheaper way to be able to travel with the baby in multiple vehicles.

Great base!

Used as a second base in other car
We learned with our first child how convenient it was to have a base in both cars so all we had to transfer is the car seat. So, we make sure we had a base in the second car as well for our second child. It was very easy to install and use. Not all bases are the same, so make sure it'll fit your car seat.

THIS base is so much better than the other baby trend “flex-loc” bases!
This is the only baby trend base that does NOT slide around after being tightly and properly installed in my 2013 Honda Pilot! The other “flex-loc” bases by baby trend are too “flexible” for my liking and slide left/right (way more than 1” at the latch site) AND up/down (can completely flip up the front of the base to the back of the seat!). I ended up trying out three bases for my baby trend travel system in hopes that one would be “secure” enough-this is it! The other “flex-loc” latch bases just slide too much! Only 4 stars bc I hate having to pay an additional $50 for this base because the one that actually came with my travel system is worthless for us.
