How long are the shelf life for these?

As long as any other tinned item. I’m vegetarian and I buy a box at a time I’m not eating this product every day or even once a week. Haven’t ever thought to look at use buy dates - hang on - I’ll go have a look - January 2020. I purchased current box of 12 earlier this year. Once opened and kept in the fridge best part of a week I’d say. I love it, hope this answers your question?

It'd be no good purchasing a large quantity of tinned goods to discover they go out of date tomorrow. Is a minimum period for use by date guaranteed?

Cans are date-stamped on the base with a three year life from production. Last month we received a batch stamped 140605 / 170605 - so produced in June this year and good until June 2017. That's what it says on the tin.

Great tofu!

This is a great product and especially for people new to tofu eating - which isn’t the easiest I Know - however this is is great in a sandwich with salad or used in a stir fry, miso soup, so many combinations. In Japanese style it would be referred to as ‘tofu skin’ I think I’m right in saying. It comes already flavoured - do try it - saves making your own. Been buying it for years!
