I would PASS on this one.
There are SEVERAL things to note:This unit is NOT equipped with a HEPA filter. THE AD SAYS: NEW TECHNOLOGY using UV light, photo-catalytic filter, washable HEPA filter and ceramic ozone plates.A: What they call a HEPA filter absolutely is NOT a HEPA filter. It LOOKS like a Activated-Charcoal filter and you can EASILY see through it. HEPA FILTER by definition is: being, using, or containing a filter usually designed to remove 99.97% of airborne particles measuring 0.3 micrometers or greater in diameter passing through it. It is IMPOSSIBLE for the “HEPA” filter in this unit to do that. Additionally, the filter is contained in a frame that is intended to be replaced as a complete assembly. Attempting to remove the filter from its frame will probably end in breaking off the internal retention clips that hold the frame together. Quite apparent they DON’T want you to do that. Where to get filters? I've no clue.B: The ad says "it has ceramic ozone “PLATES" A Plural. there is ONE and ONLY one. When the ad references the OTHER “filters” there is no “s” used and therefore would be understood to be singular.C: The UV light is NOT a standard configuration that can be purchased separate from its carrier/cage. It is a specialized removable riveted assembly in which you cannot access JUST the UV light source. As such it is completely proprietary and the included literature makes no reference whatsoever as to how to obtain a replacement.Additionally, when you see how the UV source is placed it becomes apparent that the UV light will NOT “see” the entire area that air is passing through and as such, the LIGHT will not be able to kill the bacteria it cannot touch. The “photo-catalytic filter” is a honeycomb shaped rectangular assembly that encases the lightsource. The idea behind this is that it will generate Hydrogen Peroxide as a function of water vapor and UV light contacting the comb as air passes through it and THAT would kill the bacteria, etc. While true, There still is a large area of the interior of the unit that is bypassed and would therefore require mixing of the air to kill anything. Definitely NOT a good design in my opinion.D: The AD claims: “SLEEK and MODERN look with Digital clock,Digital Timer function;” It HAS a timer. That is ALL. There is NO mention of a clock anywhere in the documentation that comes with it, nor any explanation how you would “set” the time.E. The device lacks a sensor to shut down the Ozone generator in the event the concentrations get too high. Remember: Ozone is a toxic air pollutant, a strong oxidant, and the main ingredient of ground-level smog. The problem is its relatively long survival time – up to a few days. Ozone can accumulate in home air. There is a plethora of information regarding the “hazards” of ozone generators. They DO have their place, but (I) believe most home users do not understand or refuse to believe the data supporting the dark side of the technology. One good note: It LOOKS nice :-PIn short, Overall, I believe it would be wise to PASS on this device.

No Contact Information To Seller For Tech or Warrenty Issues
I have only had this product for a week the only positive thing I can say is so far so good. What concerns me is that there was no Warranty Card or Web Site address to resister the product. Nor was there any contact phone number for Tech support or to order parts should they be needed. If this was an oversight I don't know how to contact someone to correct it. If this is their SOP then they need to change it ASAP. At the moment the only negative thing about the product is its Remote Control. The labeling on the buttons is extremely difficulty to read !. Needs bright light and excellent eye sight to see what is printed on the various buttons.UPDATE10-25-16: Sadly the Unit stop working after less then a year of use. I maintained it as the directions instructed during that time. Bottom line it was a waist of money and I advise you to save yours !

Fabulous so Far
This is my initial review. I just received the purifier today. After several days of use, I will update my review. The first thing I was interested to know is how loud the purifier is. I read several reviews that stated "it's as loud as a vacuum cleaner." Unless your vacuum cleaner is silent, this is simply not so. While you can hear it, you would have to be living in a monastery to think it's loud. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm sitting right next to it, and I can hear my TV and all other sounds just fine. I also have all levels maxed out. In fact, it is more quiet than the other purifier I have that purifies a much smaller area.Setup involved plugging it in. I pulled the tab out of the remote to enable the batteries. That's it.My next test is to see if it reduces the amount of dust in my bedroom and kitchen. I access my home from the back door. My kitchen and bedroom are right by the back door that allows a lot of dust in those rooms. More to come.

Excellent Air purifier!
This has exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. The adjustable ozone and fan speed are excellent. So glad I didn't buy one without that. You can turn the the UV plate on or off. I'm still a bit confused about the exact amount of ozone per hour that it produces, but I know on the highest setting, you shouldn't be in the room....very strong ozone output! I finally found precaution in a statement about the auto "away" function to that effect in the manual. There should probably be some more precaution in the manual about not being in the room at the highest setting. The lowest setting is really nice with just a small amount of ozone....just makes the air fresh. Perfect for my basement workshop prone to mold and mildew. And you can turn the ozone off and still have the fan on with the hepa filtration and I assume the ionizer too. It is a larger box than I was expecting. Check the dimensions if space is a consideration. The remote control is a nice feature.
