I was skeptical when I bought this but willing to try anything. I had a number of black dress clothes that I thought were ruined. I'd wash in cold gentle and they would come out with white discoloration lines and stains all over. My other thought was it was the type of detergent strips I was using. Rinsing and re-washing in plain water never got the stains out. I bought this as a last resort. I washed all of my pieces together with this detergent. A load of 7 or 8 items (dresses, dress pants) all solid black. All the items from the load came out looking good as new. Not sure how it restored the color in one wash, I thought maybe I'd even have to wash a couple times for the desired effect. I highly recommend this to fix or maintain your black dress clothing.

This is the most amazing laundry detergent. It’s most similar to Woolite for dark clothes. I wear black most of the time. I also have expensive taste and wear designer clothes. This detergent keeps my black clothes black and my dark jeans dark. I wash in cold water, but you can use it in any temperature. It doesn’t leave any residue, has virtually no scent, doesn’t cause any skin allergies or irritation (I’m allergic to all laundry detergent and fabric softener, except Perwol, “free and clear” and Woolite). You don’t need any fabric softener, either! My clothes come out clean, soft, with the fabric integrity and color preserved. I would never use any other product, after Perwol. I believe this product is so exceptional, because it’s European and their environmental standards are much higher than the United States. It doesn’t have harsh ingredients, lasts a long time, doesn’t require a lot to do the job. You’ll never go back to regular detergent, especially if you wear black and you like expensive clothes! Helps keeping black clothes black.

This is my favorite laundry detergent for dark clothes. It smells amazing - very clean and fresh with a bit of florals but not overwhelming, and it keeps my dark clothes looking sharp. I first tried this when I lived overseas in Germany, and it quickly became a favorite, so I'm glad I'm able to purchase it here in the US. It's a little expensive (but isn't everything these days!), but it came well packaged and didn't leak. The seller taped a seal around the cap to prevent spillage, which was a good call. The scent lasts well and this detergent makes my clothes feel soft and smell fresh.
