Good battery
I had ordered one of these when I first bought my Galaxy S3. They were around £15 back then. When I saw they dropped to £5.50 (seems like it still keeps dropping), I ordered 4 more. They seem to be nice batteries, holding quite a long time. The only problem is NFC is not working. I tried all six batteries with the same NFC tags and the original battery and the one I bought months ago work fine but the latest ones cannot read NFC. If it's a big deal for you may be safe to keep away but if you're just interested in the powering the device then it is still a good choice for the price.

PERFECT ORIGINAL
I am very happy with this purchase, it arrived the next day, and it is an original Samsung. My original is assembled in China, this one is assembled in Korea. I was expecting the other way around... So i am surprised by one of the earlier reviews someone posted. I had previously ordered a large 4000-something mAh battery with a large cover, claiming to be 3 times longer, and not only was it ugly cos of the size, which i could live with if its claims were true, but it was worse than the original (smaller) samsung battery, and the case was cracked as well. Having checked this new battery, I will be ordering another one, so I will have 3 batteries ready to rotate when my stupid S3 runs out of juice! Its a lot easier with 2 small spare batteries in your pocket or backpack than a huge battery and case (which don't work as claimed). Enjoy this purchase, I have!

Problems solved!
A brilliant buy.My s3 was slowing down and crashing multiple times per day. Battery only lasted 6-8hrs on standby. Inspected the old battery and found it to be warped and bulging - a bad sign.I purchased a new battery and all problems solved. It worked like new again, no trouble with higher-end games one charge easily lasted 24 hrs.Package arrived before predicted date. A bargain too.

Good replacement
A good replacement battery for the phone and it works well. It charges quickly, holds it's charge and last as long as the one which came with the phoneI bought this via Amazon and it came from From Exclusive Tech on time. From the sales blurb I thought it was an OEM battery and it works well, says SAMSUNG on it so is possibly as good as the OEM but the wording on it it not the same as on my OEM battery. The original says cell made in Japan and assembled in China. The one I received says Cell made in China assembled in Vietnam. Have SAMSUNG changed supplier or is the wording of the sales blurb misleading ?Having said all that it is nowhere near as unsatisfactory as reviews of this battery bought from other Amazon suppliers.Bottom line. Accurate and non misleading sales information is required to preserve Amazon's reputation.

Fake, yes, and also lethal....
I bought these two batteries, having seen reviews but being OK with buying knockoffs. They worked fine for 7 months - I mean they're not great, the charge doesn't hold as well as the official ones, btu they did the job.Til earlier. I was crouching and my phone fell out my pocket, only from about 10cm but either way. I picked it up, tried to turn it on/reset, nothing. I open up the back and take the battery out, it's quite hot. That's weird. I continue to hold it and it starts getting hotter....until it was way too hot to touch. I put it down in the sink and the casing is rapidly expanding, wasn't sure whether to run water under it as don't know what the best thing to do with chemical batteries is! There hasn't been any kind of explosion yet but I put it outside just in case. Not good. Yes the phone was dropped but on to carpet from a small height, so I assume that is what triggered it somehow, but does seem weird. I put my original battery back in and the phone is working fine.AVOID AT ALL COSTS unless you want a hole burnt in your back pocket/in to your leg!

Decent battery
It is strange to praise something for just being what it is supposed to be, but that is the case here. I have often (if not always) found that batteries I order online, have been sold as original, but have not been. Some have tried hard to look like the brand they claim to be, others have just been the right shape. In this case, it is a genuine Samsung Galaxy S3 battery, and that is all I wanted. It is thin and easy to carry as a spare. It is one of the few things i genuinely missed with my old iPhone. The battery life is good (obviously depends on how you use it) and it retains charge well when not in use.

its ok
first one was duff, was sent a replacement very quickly free of any charge at first sluggish but after a couple of charges it has been great holds the charge for ages wife watched two films on samsung s3 and battery was still good.what is not mentioned, which i found by chance run the battery down and fully charge overnight a few times and it gets better. Still slowish to charge [wondering if that my be the phone getting old] but I would recommend it as it lasts well between charges.
