Works
I was developing likely tendinitis in my thumb due to my job where I sometimes have to go to facilities and turn multiple chart pages and I use my left hand to do that while I write with my right. I used this and within a few days of keeping my thumb secured in it, the pain finally went away. Whenever I feel a slight twinge of that pain trying to return, I put it on. It's not hard to type in it either, I loosen the strap a little so my thumb can move, but my thumb still stays straight.

Helps my thumb a lot
I've only worn it at night while sleeping, but it has some rough edges inside... I've had to wrap a soft lightweight cloth around my wrist underneath to keep from chaffing my skin. and the buckle portion for the thumb is on the inside where it sometimes hits on my index finger. Would be nice if the buckle was on the outside of the thumb instead of the inside.BUT my trigger thumb is feeling better! I've tried others, with not so good results. This ones a keeper even with the above mentioned issue

Fits snug. Very comfortable on your thumb. I recommend this product.

Nice and firm
Gives good support and is not too thick and heavy. I am wearing it in the pool

Big, bulky, stiff, uncomfortable
I was going to give this a couple of stars, but the company is charging me $5.99 to return something I paid $7.33 for. .I bought this for my daughter to wear under her softball catcher's mitt because of a recurring injury to her thumb. I thought I'd try to find something a little less expensive than the Zamst. I'll list the reasons it's unusable for her situation:The part that goes around the top part of the thumb hovers a little to far past her thumb. She's a normal-sized 17-year-old.The velcro that wraps around the wrist is 2 inches wide. And very sharp corners. The part that is supposed to cover the base of the thumb on the palm is very narrow. The whole thing is very stiff and very cheaply made. While Zamst appears to be overpriced, the quality is miles beyond what this thumb guard is.https://www.amazon.com/Zamst-Thumb-Spica-Brace-Guard/dp/B0090Q2FRG/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1549401770&sr=8-17&keywords=zamst

was great at first, after wear and washing it had started to fall apart
was great at first, after wear and washing it had stayed falling apart. I'm not a happy lady about this. I need to wear this everyday for support and I didn't think I'd have to re-buy so soon.

It works
I broke my thumb and this thing has given me the support and "comfort" to let it heal. You're not going to be able to move your wrist much so expect some weirdness when trying to pick up your coffee cup. But you can still type and get stuff done. All in all, I'm grateful to have it.

Supports the thumb well giving the inflamed joint a chance to heal some. Works better than some others I have purchases.
