This is THE trash can to get, every time, indoor or outdoor. Easy to put together, great locking lid, HUGE capacity. Exceptionally strong and well-made. We got it as a "dog-proof" indoor trash can because our 80lb "puppy" thinks trash is a play toy. He hasn't been able to get into it once, and with the lid closing as tight and neat as it does, it keeps smells in, too, so he's not interested in it at all. Heavy enough not to tip, all straight lines, so it isn't top-heavy like some trash cans are, and won't be easily knocked over by wind or high-powered dog tail wags. I got the Rockford because I preferred its color, but since the other one is the exact same, but all black and $30 cheaper (at time of review), I don't think it matters much. Definitely get the lawn and leaf trash bags (39g). Don't skimp on them, because this thing truly holds an entire household's worth of trash without breaking a sweat. There's a leak catcher at the bottom that pulls right out if your bag tears. The lid and bottom both fit together and screw on, so as long as the lid is closed, it will keep out pretty much anything without disposable thumbs or a few weeks of uninterrupted gnawing time. I am buying a few more of these when I can afford them because they are the best trash cans I've ever had.

Great quality, easy assembly.

Great outdoor kitchen garbage bin. I love the style and it makes my purpose living space look $$$. It’s sturdy and easy to use. The lid latches nicely. We even had a bear come and knock it over trying to get the food inside, and this bin held up from a bear attack.The assembly was a little challenging with lining up the side panels but I got through it. Took about 15-20 mins to assemble.

Technically 4.9 stars only because it isn’t round - but seriously impressed with the look and durability (we added a second one 6mo later) of these. Has won several battles against trash pandas, has caught the not-quite-empty BBQ sauce in its drip pan, and holds the trash bag securely in its second snap lid frame. Appreciate the thought put into this product!! Please e-mail me if you make a round one - that’s my ONLY complaint about this design!

We wanted a larger trash can for our house that wasn't going to break out bank. We decided on this one after reading the review. I will agree the bag is hard to get out due to the lift inside. It can tear the bag if you don't wiggle it. It can be difficult to get out but my husband has mastered this after a few tries and rarely does the bag rip now. We have found the 30 gallon bags are a little short for this container. Therefore we purchase the Hefty 33 gallon bags instead and they fit perfect for this. They also tend to be easier to maneuver out of the can over the 30 gallon bags. Guess because you have more bag to grip and use to help wiggle the bag out. We did try to put tape around the inside to see if that allowed the bag to slide out easier. We tried duck tape and it didn't hold very well inside/stick. It worked some but did catch. So that is something you can try if you have a better idea for this, for us upping the bag size worked better. We were going to file it down to see if that helped, but it seemed more awkward to try and do and very hard plastic, so for the tools we has would not work, but for others may be an option. Overall however we are very pleased with this. Using larger bags, wiggle to get out, works very well. The price was worth is. It looks very nice in person. It meets our needs for inside and we have learned to get the bag out. I would say worth the purchase, but expect a learning curve to getting the bag out without ripping it. Currently we have passed this issue. I will say I do recall it being a tad challenging to put together just because of the design the such, but nothing that would be a deal breaker. Would purchase item again even with the few flaws, which is why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5.

This trash can worked well for a while but after a few months outside (in Ohio) the lid cracked and then broke at the latch point. I glued it, but it happened again, this time on the receiving part of the latch on the lid frame. I glued it.And yet again it cracked and broke on the opposite side of the latch opening on the lid.Clearly the thinnest points in the plastic on the lid latching system are not durable enough and with a bit of weather exposure they will crack and break.Even though I am out of warranty on this trash can, I decided that before posting a negative review here, I would reach out to Keter and offer them an opportunity to right the situation and send a complimentary replacement. I believe that any brand that stands behind their products, should take the opportunity to keep a customer happy and avoid negative product reviews.However, their response was 'sorry, you are out of warranty'.They offered to sell me replacement parts for a cost of $76.87...This bin is currently selling new on Amazon for $71.99!!I don't like posting negative reviews, but here we are...Based on my experience, I would advise anyone against buying this outdoor trash can.

Love this thing. It’s my second.

Just received this product and I am impressed with the ease of assembly and the overall quality look. The cost for plastic always alarms me even though it provides for easy maintenance. So with it spending its new life entirely outdoors under a covered porch out of the suns range I expect the 2 yr warranty period will not be used. Cold weather here in the north will be its ultimate test.

This is a 4-season unit that serves us very well! It's permanently used in our backyard to dispose of our dog's poo with class, to say the least! We just put a bit of cat litter in the bag and we change it every 2 weeks in the summer / every month in the winter. Odours don't come out and the look of it is an instant backyard pleaser. I found it extremely easy to assemble in roughly 10 minutes. A1 product, highly recommended!

This is a well built garbage bin and handy for us to have for our camper . My husband attached it to back of our camper .
