Poetic Revolution Case for OnePlus 13R 5G, [Slide Camera Cover], Built-in Screen Protector [Work with Fingerprint ID], [2 Front Frame] Full Body Rugged Shockproof Case with Kickstand, Black

My previous phone, which I had since 2022, was subjected to a 4m drop which it didn't survive. Up to that point it was in mint condition - I've had it covered in a flip-case since new and it has survived quite a few drops, far less severe than the last, without any damage. So when I ordered my replacement device (at, what was for me, a small fortune) I started searching for a cover that would be more rugged and impact resistant. So I came across this particular case which is advertised as military grade, 20ft (6.1m) drop-tested. The competition was stiff with several other brands making similar claims, and some of them at substantially lower prices. However, given the overall features, including a tempered glass screen protector, and a very favorable rating on Amazon from a substantial sample of reviewers, I decided to go with this particular case. Likes: - It really does appear to be a rugged, good quality case. - It fits my OnePlus 15R like a glove, just as advertised. - Sliding camera cover. - Convenient retractable stand/grab-handle. Dislikes: - I can not truly list any dislikes so far; however I do have a few concerns and only time will tell whether they are justified or not: -- The stand/grab-handle does appear a little flimsy, as noted by a few other reviewers, especially compared to the solid ruggedness of the rest of the case. -- I don't know if it will really protect a phone against a 20ft drop, and I hope I never have to find out. -- Finally, and this is not a criticism against this case in particular, but rather against this type of case in general: What happens if the phone falls screen-down onto gravel or other rough and uneven surfaces? I don't think any open-screen case could protect against damage in such a case; again I only hope I never have to find out. - Be that as it may, I think it would be unfair to lower the rating because of these concerns, so I'll give it full marks at this stage.

Installation took maybe 2 minutes with the screen less frame. I didn't try the screen frame because there is an adhesive dot where the finger print scanner is. I imagine that's to improve fingerprint scanning through the layer but I think it looks weird. There is not adhesive on the rest of the screen so I worry dust would collect underneath. I never really use a screen protector anyway... Or proper cases once they broke in previous phones. Live dangerously ^-^;; The top and bottom edges are raised enough to protect the screen when face down. The edges are high enough to protect the rounded screen yet low enough to still be able to use the screen edges. The case has a gentle transitional curve so you can't really tell the difference in edge heights while looking at the screen. This probably doesn't bother most people but I appreciate it. There is also a nice raised edge that protects the (massive) front camera area when the phone is placed face up. All of the little functional holes on the top and bottom (sound, IR, vent, etc) have roomy access holes so nothing is restricted at all. The kickstand is a bit hard to pop out with my old lady hands but it's nice. You can use it to hold the phone in either orientation with a good angle for viewing. I sometimes use it to hold one handed with my fingers under the opened kickstand but it isn't comfy enough to use regularly like a ring or pop up one. I worry the hard plastic may break at some point but there is a neat fill texture on the inside of the plastic that gives it some additional strength. The volume and power buttons are as easy to press as without the protector. The left side switch has a nice open access space and doesn't restrict access even without nails. The soft outer layer has some texture lines that give you a sense of grip security without feeling gross (neurodivergent problems lol) The charging port plug is snug but not too difficult to open. It has a nice little slight tab that gives you some grip to pop it out without having to dig it out like some other cases I've had. I don't feel like I have to fight it when inserting the charging cord like some other cases. Overall I quite like this case and would recommend it to others. I'll gladly buy a new one when this one's soft layer inevitably gets dirty. Live safely! ^-^ Update 2-24-25: The kickstand has finally succumbed to my fidgeting! I had a feeling this would happen but I'm surprised it lasted this long. I do wish there weren't just two tiny plastic tabs holding it in place. The kickstand is the only weak point on this case in my opinion. I still haven't tried the built in screen cover option OR used a screen protector but the case has done its job to protect from falls hand has held up beautifully. The grey rubber parts have discolored slightly as is expected but it doesn't look dirty or gross. I am literally about to purchase a second one just to replace the kickstand. ~$20 a year for reliable drop protection is worth it to me. I just hope they improve the plastic kickstand design a little.

It's a really well made case and will definitely protect my oneplus 15. There is a layer of a soft material on inside of the case to protect. The only negative is the lack of a magsafe magnet. I will attempt to add one myself but wish it came installed with it. I love how it has the locking front picture frame bezel and the camera cover. It will keep your lenses protected when not in use. I'd give this case a 8.6 out of 10 (4/5 stars) This would be a 9.9 if it had magsafe magnet built in. I am not sure how these screen protectors will work but they are thick and the picture frame locking bezel should hold it in place nicely. Well worth the $21 to protect your $1k phone for many years to come. If you want a case that is very thin and light, this isn't it. This is the case you want if you work hard, play hard, dont want to worry about your screen or back glass cracking for the life of the phone.

Saved my new phone from an 8 foot fall on tile in the first week. It landed right on the corner of the screen like phones seem to love doing which usually results in a complete shatter of the display, but my $700 phone was fine. The case frame did crack on that side, but its still functional. But I'd rather buy a new case than a new phone. It did its job. I like that the inside of the case has a soft cloth-like material too so your phone isn't just against hard plastic.

I always get poetic revolution series cases for my phones. Oneplus doesn't have the best selection for cases...I contacted poetic when the 12r came out about making one and they said they were working on it...a few weeks later they released it and I ordered right away. As always, it's the best case for me. Has kickstand, comes with 2 different faceplates for built in screen or open face, and protects the phone from drops and scratches. The fit and finish is excellent. One thing that had me curious is how they would handle the curved screen edges and again they did a great job. The full edge is available for viewing and touch selection at the edges works great. Also fingerprint sensor still works great with built in screen protector. A lot of other brands with built in screens make the fingerprint sensor not work so well but poetic did a great job here. Value is great too at around ~20 dollars. This review was written after having it for 2 weeks. If you don't see an update this means I am happy with it and it's durability is on point!

Reduced to 3 stars a half year later. The slide on the back of the phone broke even though not used heavily in half a year. Small plastic molded pegs on the slider that ride in the grooves are the weakest design point they either need to be metal or larger in size to not snap off as quickly. Also the screen protector if you knock it or of the phone drops just a small amount such as a foot when sat down and the corner hits the floor the case protects the phone which is great but lots of small manufacturing black plastic pieces will slip under the screen protector as it's temporarily flexing and lock in a ton of small black dots over your screen. If you remove the protector to clean it then the fingerprint adhesive section will no longer work and the fingerprint will fail more then work from that point on. Great ideas with design flaws to overcome in future case designs or revisions. This is the most functional and well-built case I have ever owned. The rugged design and features like the sliding camera cover and built-in kickstand are excellent, and it provides a level of protection that feels very secure. However, there is a significant flaw in the manufacturing. The case has small pieces of random black plastic from the molding process that are not removed. These particles can easily get wedged between the phone's screen and the protective layer. The case itself can flex a bit when knocked, allowing more of these tiny particles to get under the screen protector. This creates a frustrating issue where you have to remove the case to clean out the debris. This process can dislodge the small adhesive circle that is required for the fingerprint sensor to work. Reapplying the case and getting the adhesive circle to stick properly again is a pain, often requiring multiple attempts to get the fingerprint sensor to register. Despite this notable quality control issue, the case's overall design and level of protection are so good that I still find it to be an excellent product. It's a fantastic case that could be perfect if not for this one manufacturing flaw.

This is the best phone case I've had. I can't count how many times I've dropped this thing by accident and there are no scraps or scratches. This thing is really durable 💪🏿, definitely worth the price which also a convenience...

This phone case offers great protection for my new phone. It adds some bulk, but it doesn't make one-handed use worse. I can still reach across the phone horizontally, and the vertical reach is too tall anyway. (Thankfully OnePlus took that into consideration with the swipe option settings.) I like the feel of it in my hand. It gives my hand something to grip, due to the texture, without being rubbery or bumpy. I struggled a little bit with getting the outermost cover over the last corner. Think of it like the last corner of a fitted sheet: it's tighter than the other corners but with a little more pressure it slips on. I have chosen to use the frame that doesn't have the screen protector because I already have one on the phone. I was concerned how much protection the camera would have, but I feel the lip on the case is enough to handle most situations. If I drop this on rocks and it hits a pointed edge or something, it's toast, but for setting it on different surfaces, or even a drop onto tile will not affect the protection. Of course if I drop it from 15 feet, all bets are off! My favorite feature is the stand. This is the first case I've purchased with a built-in stand and it is so nice! It locks in place easily, and it's also easy to disengage. The stand slides smoothly and has a notch at the hinge point to make opening it easy too. An unexpected bonus for me is I can use the stand as a finger hold similar to a pop socket. Right now I can't imagine getting a cover without this super-convenient feature! Lastly, the button access seems relatively unaffected by the cover. I do have to press the buttons a little harder than I would without the cover, but it's not a struggle by any means. I also like the flip cover over the charging port. It's a two-handed operation to plug it in, but that's far from a deal breaker for me. All in all I'm very pleased with this purchase and haven't found anything I would change. Great price for this level of protection in my opinion.

Item arrived with the plastic screen totally detached from the frame. The plastic screen which is supposed to protect your screen is unbelievably shabby, warped, flimsy, and bubbled-up in multiple places. It is extremely ugly, as well as poor quality and broken. Wish I could give it 0 star. Do not waste your money on this sham.
