Having instant boiling water is convenient. This cartridge replaced the old one without issue. The water tasted clean, which is the main purpose. The replacement process was simple, involving a quick twist and lock mechanism. The filter's design appeared robust, and the initial flow rate was good. I noticed a subtle difference in the water's clarity, a welcome change. The ongoing efficiency of the filter, regarding mineral reduction and taste, will be something I monitor. Initial observations are positive. The water now has a more neutral, less metallic aftertaste, making beverages more enjoyable. It also seems to have reduced the slight residue that used to form in kettles and cups. The ease of installation makes routine maintenance less of a chore. It performs its function, and does so without any noticeable drawbacks at this stage.

This filter cartridge was a straight replacement for the one in my instant boiling water tap. It was easy enough to fit, just a simple twist and lock mechanism. The water tastes noticeably fresher and cleaner since I replaced the old cartridge. It's removed any lingering metallic taste that was sometimes present before. I've noticed that my tea and coffee taste better too, the flavour is more pronounced. The water flows smoothly from the tap, no spluttering or anything like that. I'm happy with the performance of this filter cartridge, it's doing a great job of keeping my water clean and pure.

Perfect fit for my Qettle tap, but I am unsure as to why I would choose this over the branded one given they are basically the same price. This fits and seems to work, but I am less trusting of this one as it's not a brand i recognise and it's made in china. Unless the price reduces substantially then I can't see me ordering this again.
