Turns a good guitar into a great guitar. Last longer, sound amazing and feel good under the fingers.. a to g are flatwound and the low e is round which gives the best of all worlds. Top quality from superb manufacturer. Everyone asks what guitar I'm playing because it sounds so sparkly and I always reply its not the guitar it's these amazing strings.. then they start droning on about elixirs and I fall asleep. These are the best I've ever tried.

After struggling with high-tension strings that made an otherwise-lovely guitar all but unplayable, these are a fantastic step up. The lower tension almost feels like you've tuned down a step, and tonally they're very even. Not overly bright, but nicely rounded.My one criticism is that they don't offer a set with an uncoated 3rd string; so if you're planning on doing any bending on the G, then you have to budget for an extra string.And they are notably more expensive. But - it's clear to see why. These are carefully made, high quality strings and a worthwhile investment.

I like the authentic acoustic sound (warm & natural) not bright in your face.Wish they came in pack of 4 strings (DGBe) for 4 string players (steel baritone uke / tenor Chicago tuning).

I've used acoustic strings from D'Addario, Cleartone, John Pearse, Elixir and Martin, but find the Plectrum series from Thomastik-Infeld preferable to all of these. They have a lovely soft texture which makes them feel silky under the fingers, and a subtle upper-mid presence which gives the guitar an immediate dynamics response and a sweet singing voice. Thomastiks aren't cheap, but I've yet to find an acoustic string that matches them.

My little Martin 000 is easy to play but as my arthritic hands get worse & worse I needed something that reduced the string tension but retained the Martins lovely tone. These strings perform better than anything else I have tried. I also tried the Newtone equivalent & they aren't even in the same league on my instrument. Seriously considering putting the electric equivalent on my other guitars, despite the price. Worth every penny, especially since they last so long.

Not bad but not worth the extra money. It seems most expensive strings, including these, simply do not have anything that special about them that justifies the higher price.A pack of Martin strings are a lot more fun and hold up far better if you want to play with some oomph.I have also broken two packs of these which puts me of as I don't tend to break strings from the big string companies.

These are simply the best acoustic strings that I have ever played, and I have been playing a long time and tried many many different brands and types.Fantastic quality and sound beautiful.

As a first time 12 string buyer, I wanted strings that would sound wonderful and be easy to fret. Both goals were accomplished. The flat wound bass strings have a nice controlled growl, the octaves sparkle, and it doesn’t seem much different in feel from my 6 strings. Highly recommended.

C'est une excellente corde, même si je l'ai achetée en pensant qu'il y aurait 6 cordes et qu'elle n'en était livrée qu'avec 1. Je me trompe.

He comprado estas cuerdas pensando que eran de calidad contrastada ( a pesar del alto precio) y al ir a poner la segunda cuerda en mi guitarra, lejos aún de la tensión de afinación, me rompe estrepitosamente. Me quedo sin poder tocar la guitarra una temporada y con el regalo de Amazon de tener que ir a una tienda Celeritas si quiero devolver el producto defectuoso y perder un par de horas o mas de mi tiempo.

This is only a single string! And they charge you (with shipping) almost $40!!!
