I've used this unit for more than two weeks since the midea U-Shaped model was recalled. This AC has exceeded my expectations. Installation was fairly handy. It fits securely in the window and came with clear instructions and all the necessary parts. Cooling performance is great too. It cools down my bedroom ( about 200 sq. ft.) in just 10-15 min. Even on really hot days. The fan has multiple speeds and the temperature control is responsive and accurate. Also it is surprisingly quiet, doesn't make too much noise. I'd definitely recommend it for small to medium sized rooms.

PLEASE READ i have a 10000btu fridgeair unit that works 5x better than this. It does not blow hard at all and can not cool down a 300sqft room its very quiet but at the price of being very not good. I wouldnt buy this again in fact im trying return it had high hopes for this but its not what i thought. It just seems off honeslty the window feature is really nice and install is super easy but this unit will NOT cool down more than 250sq ft. This brand make great portable units this design is just horrible

I was hoping for a quality product similar to that of Hisenses TV. However, this AC was not it. No controls on the unit itself. Poor software to the point where the only way to turn it off was by unplugging it. Maybe I got a lemon, maybe not. Either way, if you want a lower profile AC with the "U shape" go with the another brand. UPDATE: After living with this AC for a few weeks, I am revising the stars up to 4. This unit easily cools a large space while still remaining quiet despite the 90 degree + temperature outaide. However, the lack of controls on the front is unfortunate and the initial issues turning the unit off are still troublesome, though rare. It is a solid unit despite my original frustrations.

Was looking for a replacement air conditioning unit since old one was giving out so I bought this one after a recommendation from a friend who had a great experience, I must say that is is exactly as advertised and fantastic. It was delivered undamaged with no missing parts or anything which is great. This unit was very easy to install and instructions were clear on how to use it. It almost instantly started cooling down my living room as soon as I turned it on. Great unit definitely recommend It’s very quiet even at different power levels, was surprised at how quickly it cooled down the room and how silent it was you’d barely notice that it is on at all. It doesn’t get much better than this for the price. Worth every single penny.
