Very strong magnet and long reach when fully extended.
Great tool, which extends for for reaching where your arms can’t reach. The magnet is very strong and can lift decent size bolts. It’s very lightweight and great value for money.

MUST HAVE
Absolute Game Changer.. Ive picked up nuts, bolts, wrenches, and whatever else I decided to drop down an engine bay to add more time to an already stressful job. this thing is brilliant, the magnet is really strong and can literally pick up most tools not only pick them up but im able to manouvre them around pipes and cables and whatever im picking up is able to take a few knocks and bumps without being detatched. just brilliant all round. my only gripe, is that after a year of abuse, some how the magnet is cracked and im down to half a magnet, but its still doing its job to this day, highly reccomend!

Powerful! Extendible robust "antenna" style pole, with a SERIOUS Magnet!
There is (almost) nothing to dislike about this item: a powerful Neodymium magnet at the end of a stout "walkie-talkie" style extendible "antenna", with a moulded rubber/polymer grip. It does the specific job I hoped for (lifting full size, "pro" spec Pétanque Boules from the ground) - about 700g (over 1.5lb) of 440c grade Stainless Steel per Boule. The one thing I didn't like was the flimsy pocket "Pen Clip". But happy, that came straight off, and is now in my recycling bin. STRONG Magnet, on STOUT EXTENDIBLE "Radio Aerial" POLE - you got it - and I love it! :-)

Excellent value and so easy to use
This item is excellent value and extremely useful for picking up small items like dropped pins or needles and of course small screws or virtually any small metal objects,

Too weak for defense
Does the job but I bought it as a defence aid

Does the job.
Seems like a decent quality part Dropped a nut into the engine bay, this helped fish it out.

It extends. Great! It picks up metal objects. Great! Is it made for "inside" use? No! Imagine that you have a small metal object, vaguely shaped like a teardrop with a small base so it can sort of stand on it's own. Now imagine that you put this metal object somewhere where is was meant to go, but you were a little too exited so you forced it a bit and now it's kind of stuck. We'll that happened. To someone. Maybe me, but it might also have been me. How would retrieve a metal object that's stuck somewhere? With a magnet of course! A magnet on a stick would be optimal! One that's collapsible would be best in case you suddenly need it for similar applications in the future and can tuck it away (foreboding) somewhere. The magnet however can come loose. If it does it will, at Mach 1,instantly travel to any nearby large metal object. You now have 2 metal objects stuck together. And a stick. You now start to concoct a reasonable excuse that's plausible enough to fool any medical staff. You fail to do so. But you go to the hospital anyway. You take a number and sit in the waiting room. You're not going to the emergency room, the less people involved the better, and your mom didn't raise a cry baby after all. When they call your number a young nurse comes through the door. A beautiful girl with dreamy eyes and a kind smile. "Number 37!" You crunch the piece of paper with the number 37 in your hand and look around sheepishly, like a labrador in a one dog home who just got the question of who ate the pillow. "Number 38?" You let your future wife, let's call her Lisa, take away number 38, an older man with a broken wrist. Better not be mean to Lisa you whisper to yourself. You take a new number and finally, Bob calls you in. Bob looks like a lumber jack, Bob looks like he's seen things. But he hasn't seen what is about to transpire. As you move to get up, the magnet finds the magnetic field created by it and the metal chair your sitting on. As you stand up, the magnet, with its teardrop shaped bestie violently exits its abode, through pants. It's not a dry affair I'm afraid. Oh no, this is like the elevator doors in the shining but seen by someone color blind. There is a loud, wet, "Ting!" as magnet and companion firmly attaches to said chair. Bob retches, Lisa comes running out, she retches, you scream, you run, you slip. Laying in the hospital with a concussion, sans pants, being observed by Bob and Lisa was not how you intended this day. As Lisa leans in towards Bob and you hear her whisper "and I was going to ask him out" your world falls apart. But yeah, it picks up metal all right! Five stars.

This is a well built, sturdy, strong, and collapsing magnet. I used it mostly to find screw that I’ve dropped in inconvenient places. The magnet is strong enough that it can pull the screws towards it. Super handy and I love using it.
