Stanley 228042 80mm Jointing Compound Mixer

I bought this to urgently mix approx. 4.5 litres of Dulux Matt Emulsion - White with a (dark) sky blue. Mixing went well, the size of the stirrer is good and fits into 2.5 litre and larger tins (I mixed the paint in a 6 litre tin). It appears to be well made and was easy to wash the paint off. I used a Cordless Bosch drill and the hexagonal shaft slotted well into the chuck. Overall, it has got me out of a fix having ordered a shade or two, too dark blue paint for our walls.

Simple tool. Does the job. Fits a standard chuck. Makes life easier. Used for mixing grout, gave a good consistency.No complaints.

I have used self levelling compound in the past and wasnt holding out much hope in a new house that needed some work on the floor. I bought deep fill compund and the instructions were explicit on using a mixer rather than by hand. I poured the contents into a bucket, added the water and used this mixing tool on my dewalt battery drill. A lot of force is required to mix the compund with the water but after 2 mins of churn and a few slow downs on the drill, it looked great and set as it should. So i would thoroughly recommend this for mixing any dry building materials.

does a decent job this , just got it on impulse to be honest, you know bit bored , oh look at that wonder if it works or is any good, well after using it to do a bit of light cement mix in a bucket , mixing paint ect i keep finding things for it to do and it hasn't let me down yet, fits my drill nice , and well made and does its job at a decent price

it does exactly what it says on the tin, fitted perfectly into my cordless drill, used it to mix up some plaster and it was quick and easy, left a nice smooth mix with minimal splashing or fling... also used it to mix up some paint and it did an excellent job too
