Works like a charm
Lots of panels and parts to remove, but once it got the wiring routed hooking this up the Alpine Rear View Camera System (Item HCE-RCAM-WRA) was super easy, and it works perfectly on my 2018 JK. Love having the backup camera feature. I left the remote trigger wiring accessible, so as I add a switch panel to my Jeep I'll be albe to toggle the rear camera on using a switch - super convenient.

CAUSED RADIO TO NOT TURN ON!!
After 4 months of it working great it started to cause my radio to not turn on and caused an engine code "U0184 Lost Comm with radio". I uninstalled it and my radio works fine. Reinstalled and uninstalled multiple times and this was the issue. Amazon was no help and neither was Alpine!

Works Awesome in our 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Highly recommend this product! The only item I wish I could change is the time the a pop up message occurs when you put your Jeep in reverse that says "Check Your Surroundings." It shows on the top of your Jeep radio UCONNECT system screen for a few seconds too long which blocks part of your backup view. Besides that I don't know why Jeep didn't make this a standard option years ago...
