Manufacturer's Description You'll be gracing the limelight with the sophisticated Princess Sasha, the elegant Dana on Ice and the Sweetz Cloe and Diamondz Yasmin, but who has the most street style? And whose sparkle will win on Glamour n Glitz? All the answers lie within Bratz Passion 4 Fashion Top Trumps, so to be sure you don't get beaten on style, get savvy and get seen with the most stylish game around!Top Trumps has been played since the 1970s when the first packs took the playgrounds of the UK by storm. Its success is partly due to how easy and compelling it is to play. Shuffle and deal all the cards face down. Each player takes their share of the cards and holds them so that they can only see the top card. The player to the dealer's left starts by reading out a selected statistic (e.g. Weight or Speed). The other players then read out the same statistic from their own top cards. The player with the best or highest value wins and places all the top cards including their own to the bottom of their own pile. It is then that player's turn to choose a statistic from the next card. If two or more cards share the top value or data is unavailable for that statistic, then all the top cards are placed in the middle and the same player chooses from the next card. The winner of that hand takes all the cards from the middle as well. The person with all the cards at the end is the winner, easy. The better you know the deck, the better your chances.

I like Top Trumps, always have. My daughters (9 & 5 y.o) like Top Trumps, and have a few packs. This particular set, however, rarely comes out of the drawer. Why? Because once you know the pack, the chances of you losing a round are slim, thus removing the toing and froing that is the hallmark of a good TT set.Within the pack, the Bratz are subdivided into half-a-dozen subcategories; there are five cards headed "DIAMONDZ", five are "PRINCESS"es, five "ON ICE", etc.If it's your go, and your lead card is a PRINCESS, pick the "STREET STYLE" rating: unless your opponent also has a PRINCESS as their card-in-play, you can't lose! An ON ICE card? Pick "STYLE & SOPHISTICATION": again, unless the other player also has an ON ICE card, you will win that round. Even if they have got the same category card, you'll probably do no worse than draw - GENIE MAGIC cards are DANCEFLOOR DIVA winners, but three of the five cards score 7, and the other two score 8.My 5.y.o loves to play Top Trumps with her big sister, but won't play if it's this pack - "B-o-o-r-r-i-n-g, Daddy, I never get to play!"Yes it's a very girly set, and yes it helps their reading, but there are so many better Top Trump packs (we like the Ice Age 3 set), that this one is tantamount to a waste of money.
