My favorite backpack I've ever owned
I recently picked up the Daylite 44L backpack, and I have to say, it is AMAZING. The size is spot on – I can easily pack a week’s worth of clothes and still have room for my computer or tablet, chargers, cables, and toiletries. It’s perfect whether I’m heading out for a weekend or longer. The materials are really high quality, so it’s resistant to tears and even light rain, which is super reassuring. Plus, the design is great with lots of pockets and compartments to keep everything organized. One thing I love is the compression straps. They make it so easy to squeeze everything down and make the most of the space. And it’s TSA compliant for carry-on, which is a huge plus for traveling. The comfort is also great. The shoulder straps are very well padded and they and the waist strap can be tucked away to avoid dangling straps when you need to squeeze it into an overhead bin or want to carry it more like a duffel bag. I went with the black color, but it’s actually more of a really dark gray, and it looks really sleek. Overall, I’m super happy with the Daylite 44L backpack. It’s definitely one of the nicest backpacks I’ve ever owned, and I’d totally recommend it if you’re looking for a reliable and versatile travel bag. It's priced at $140, but Amazonnsometimes has it on sale making it closer to $120. At that price, it's a steal.

Great travel bag
great bag, if you're good at packing it will fits more than you think. Stitching is solid, handles and pockets are well placed, they put some thoughts and effort in designing this bag. Laptop sleeve is great and well padded. I took over 10 flights with it and had no issues taking it as a carry one. If I were nitpicking I'd say I just wished the wall would be just a bit more rigid as they flop in when packing.

The perfect carry-on bag
Amazing travel bag! European airlines have much smaller carry-on size guidelines. This bag works perfectly. I don’t need to pay outrageous checked luggage fees anymore. Can fits everything I need for a few days right here. The straps are nicely padded for comfort. And I absolutely love the blue color.

Perfect for more than the weekend!
Exactly what I was looking for! Needed a new backpack carry on to replace an older bulkier one. I did buy the 35L one first but that was too small for my needs. This one is perfect! Light weight, quality, very pleased!

Great for Your Dream Adventure: Easy to carry in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
This pack is perfect for travel hopping. It fits as a carryon on planes, and it can hold enough clothes to survive (more clothes in the summer and less in winter depending on pants/tank tops/etc). This pack is for getting to a destination and then leaving it there....not for lugging around camping stoves or bulky outdoor items. Think getting on a plane to Europe, navigating trains and pathways, getting to your place of rest and leaving it there until you're ready to hit the road to your next destination. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars only out of personal preference. The front of the pack doesn't have enough smaller zipper compartments for smaller items that need quick grabbing (chargers, chapstick, snacks, etc). Also, the inside of the pack does have a luggage strap to hold down your clothes, but it doesn't have a little zipper net to hold it all in (again, just personal preference!). It's a GREAT pack though! My teen boys fit all their crap in it and it survived an adventure. The extra couple of Liters definitely helped with space. I stashed some of my stuff in their packs.

Almost perfect!
The harness system could be a bit more secured with normal systems, and the hipbel could have a bit of padding... but beyond that, I love it because it has: * Two water bottle pocket at the side. * Ergonomic straps and hip-belt. Both can be hidden. * Laptop compartment. * Pass-through system. * Lash/Attaching points. * Clamshell opening. * Compression straps (internally and externally) * Meeting most airlines' carry-on size requirements. * Lightweight & Strong. * No velcro in the back system preferred. So... as it was imposible for me to find all of this in other backpacks, I decided I could love with the unpadded hipbelt and the way the carrying straps connect. Wish me luck!

I have taken this backpack on two European trips and various home trips. It is amazing how much stuff it packs and it is so comfortable to wear. I'm 5'6 female small upper frame.

Very good quality as expected from Osprey. Comfortable on the back specially for long walks in and around. Can be opened like a suitcase which is very convenient in small spaces like in Japan. Need to buy separate lock should you need to check in as luggage.
