Absolutely love this thing.
Sorry for the users who don’t get the miraculous results that I have found using this little thing for the past 8 years, but for someone like me who is CONSTANTLY getting bitten and must have the best tasting blood in the world, according to mosquitos, this little device is a GODSEND. Whether I’ve just gotten a bite or wake up to one itching that might be hours old, I just zap this over my bite about 10-20 times and it literally disappears, never to return or itch again. (Note: the packaging literally says to use 12-24x per bite, I have no idea why other reviewers say it doesn’t work when they’re just using it 1x on a bite and not even bothering to READ THE DIRECTIONS). I’m on my second one, but only because the first one got lost. I’ve not had any issues with either falling apart. This thing is absolutely amazing and I don’t leave home without it! It’s in my purse 24/7 during every season but winter!

cute but fragile
This is a cute little zapper with the strength of the larger ones...easy to carry, but of the two we bought last week, one broke fairly quickly.

It Works!!
I was skeptical to say the least. I have only submitted maybe three reviews on products I have bought in over 10 years, so that should tell you something.I purchased this device because I have tried everything else I can get my hands on for bug bites. I don’t just get the small round itchy raised bump when I’m bit by a mosquito, flea, fly or any blood sucking bug. No, I get welts, my body reacts far more intense with an allergic reaction and has kept me awake over a single flea bite. I swear these insects have colony meetings to strategize how to find me. I have left blood stains on my sheets from scratching the bites when I am asleep. To say I’m desperate to find something to relieve the severe itch is an understatement.I HAVE FOUND A SOLUTION!This device takes the itch away and the bite minimizes by 80% after the first use. I use twelve clicks on each bite, new and old and repeat if I feel them again. After that, no itching, no scratching. It feels like a slight rubber band sting, but nothing bad at all.I don’t know how long this device will work, but if it stops working, I will buy another one.

Not as safe as inferred in ad -- kills skin cells
This product is effective at getting rid of itches from mosquito bites. However, I don't believe the manufacturer's claim that it works by heating the mosquito venom. Rather, I think what it does is that it kills the (skin) cells at the spot where you use the product. The device administers a jolt of electricity at the tip when the button on the back is pressed. For me, I have to press the button a few times (4 or 5) at the itch site for the itch to go away -- and the itch goes away -- it's replaced by a slightly painful sensation at the site: definitely less annoying than the itching. However, after a few days, the spots where I used the device gets crusty and "scabby" with a scar. Usually, my mosquito bites just disappear after a day if I just use an anti-itch cream like Goldbond on it. However, with this devide, the sites where I've used the device develop scars on my skin, again, leading me to believe the device works by killing the cells, possibly just numbing the nerves, where the electricity from the device is administered. Just my guess as to how it works from my firsthand observation.I'm giving this product 3 stars because it does get rid of the itching -- but not in as safely and as mild a manner as advertised. It does leave a bit of pain; it does leave a scar; and sometimes, depending on how often I've used the device on a specific site, the pain lasts for days and the scar lasts for weeks.

It works! It takes the itch out of venomous bites.
This unit does exactly what it promises. It delivers a tiny spark to denature the venom of a mosquito bite, reduce inflammation and give relief. I only wish there were some way to keep from losing it. There's no way to attach it to a key-ring or thread it onto a keeper of some sort. The item is so smooth there's no easy way to add your own zip-tie or twine. It's so smooth it's hard to prepare the surface for adhesive grip. The easiest answer is to put it into some little draw-string bag and connect that to something to keep the item handy and not lost. It's a good unit, but harder to hang onto than a wet bar of soap.

Falls apart easily
It’s cheap. Wrap some tape around it to stop it falling apart.

It seems to work.
What I really like about these is that my grandkids love to use them. When they get bug bites they will come get one and they "zap" the itch away. Of course they zap it about ten times per bite. LOL I don't care as long as they are happy with the results. I have used them and it does seem to help the itch of mosquito bites. Not sure if it is because I like to watch the spark or if it is the difference in the feel. I would buy them again, and again, and again... kind of like band aids, if the kids want one, I will slap them on for them.
