Great matte foundation!
Being older, "moisturizing" foundations leave me looking sweaty instead of "dewy". I love how the Maybelline Super Stay Lumi-Matte Foundation does not do that. In fact, I spent the better part of 3 hours outside in "heat advisory" weather, and not only did I not look sweaty, it stayed that way the entire day. It goes on smooth (a little goes a long way), and the price fits my fixed income budget.

Is amazing
I really love this Maybelline foundation! It blends beautifully and gives my skin a smooth, even finish without feeling heavy or cakey. The coverage is buildable, and it lasts really well throughout the day. My skin looks fresh and natural while still covering imperfections. Definitely a great everyday foundation!

As good, if not better, than luxury brands
I feel ridiculous. I have spent up to $175 for 1 bottle of foundation, and every price point in between, only to finally try this and find my holy grail. What first struck me was the 30 hr claim. While I will hopefully never wear foundation for that long, it peaked my interest. I have oily skin and this doesn't leave me with an oily mess within a few hrs. It can settle a bit into fine lines (and only noticeable under a 10x mirror) but that is easily solved with a wet sponge to remove excess makeup such as my smile lines or under eyes. I have the other matte version but I like this better as it's lumi-matte and gives my skin a more natural look. The coverage is excellent and I matched my skin tone perfectly. I can't find anything wrong w this and the price point is a welcome relief over the 'luxury' brands. I'm looking at YOU Tom Ford!

Amazing
I waited way too long to try this, I canโt believe how well this product works on mature skin, I have combo skin but Iโm over 45 and this stuff just works amazing I use three pumps, I do use a few drops of jojoba oil and some heavy cream around my eyes as my prep and a little bit of Kosas glow underneath, you could use whatever glow you want and it looks amazing, covers everything, feels like nothing and lasts all day.

Good.
For the price point, this one is hard to beat. Iโm 54, and honestly, I just need more coverage than most tinted moisturizers give. This is a great option for anyone who wants a little more coverage AND doesnโt want a dewy finish. I would call the finish more of a smooth satin finishโฆitโs much more natural looking than dewy or matteโฆitโs the perfect in-between texture. My skin is on the drier side, with a bit of oiliness around my noseโฆI have a good bit of fine lines, especially around my eyes and I also have larger pores ๐ตโ๐ซ- this just evens it all out and leaves a smooth finish. I have found with different application methods, that a buffing foundation brush works best to โblend and blurโโฆe.l.f. makes a couple of good ones, also reasonably priced.

The best ever drugstore foundation!๐
My favorite drug store foundation! I would say medium, buildable, makes your skin look flawless and smooth! One thing I love, it gives great coverage but is NOT THICK or cakey! Omg itโs just amazing I swear youโll love it! Also great variety of shades! (Iโm on like my 5-6th bottle.. hahaha !!

Not Lumi, Just Matte
I have seen countless reviews of this foundation by MUAs, influencers, even Allure Magazine. Everybody says it is wonderful, a dupe for the Armani Luminous silk, that I don't own so I can't say if it is. I decided to buy it and so far I am very underwhelmed by it. I have combo skin. I am oily on my t-zone and I have to set all my foundations, even the matte ones because after a few hours I shine. That is not the case with this Maybelline one, and you would think that is a good thing but not really, because my skin looks very dry with this. I coudn't beleive it when I applied it and it dried super fast to a very matte finish. It looks like I am wearing a powder foundation. My skincare routine is on point, I do not have any dry patches and this foundation aged me. I didn't give up though and I tried it with very hydrating primers, luminous and glowy primers, and the result was not much different. It looks flat and dry. Then I tried mixing it with a glowy tinted moisturizer and the result was better but nowhere near what I expected. I am disappointed. I really wanted to like this foundation and I had high expectations. I will continue to use it mixed with moisturizer because I already spent the money and for everyday minimal makeup ocasions is good, but this is something I can't wear when I need to look my best. I am giving it 3 stars because the packaging is nice, the shade match was perfect, it is very thin, application is easy, it is indeed transfer proof, and I found a way to still use it mixed with other products, but I will not buy it again. I will update this review if I somehow find a way to use it by itself and get a good result.

SO, SO Good! BEST DRUGSTORE FOUNDATION
I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION! I have dry skin and always do my skin care routine prior to putting on my makeup. I have curated a routine that keeps me hydrated and plays well with ALL makeup. I have been wearing Haus Labs Triclone foundation for years, but my skin is fairer than it normally is (I live in the desert and am inside all Summer) and figured I'd try this foundation as opposed to trying to figure out my new shade in Haus Lab's 65 shade options (they have a VERY confusing skin tone format). I found 118 perfect for my light/neutral skin tone. This foundation is JUST AS GOOD as any foundation you can find in Sephora. I have tried SO many foundations, and this goes on smoothly, covers well, and like the Triclone, keeps a skin-like finish. I will say that it dries down quickly so there is not a lot of time for placement. Do not pump this on your face and blend section at a time (NOBODY should be pumping foundation on their face) because it dries fast. I pump two pumps it into my hand, dip my brush in and work section at a time, then repeat the process till my face is covered. This LASTS ALL DAY, doesn't budge once it's dried, and withstands sweat, the heat, and a full day of activities. I would say this reminds me of a combination of Triclone Foundation and Estee Lauder Double wear. The LUMI-MATTE finish is muah! CHEF'S KISS. Since I use a moisturizing skin care routine, oftentimes a luminous foundation can be too much glow for my taste. Then I have to powder more heavily than I like, then it's too matte and I need to use a hydrating setting spray and lumi blush. It's a vicious cycle. This dries and has a soft, illumination to it but it also dries to be a matte finish. How? IDK! I end up powdering ONLY where I use concealer and this gives me that perfect finish I am after. This NEVER ends up being too luminous for me. I think anyone can pull this foundation off, oily or dry. I think this would be AWESOME for oily skin people who want to wear a lumi foundation but can't without over-powdering the face. They probably need to make more shades of this line because as it stands, there aren't enough to cover every skin tone, and they need to. I predict that this, along with the Super Stay Skin Tint, will be a part of Maybelline's permanent collection. I used to use the Eraser foundation for years, but this is much better as it stays put ALL DAY LONG. I'm so glad I tried this as it has become my go-to foundation I wear everyday now. If you have dry skin, do not skip your moisturizing routine prior to wearing this as I could foresee it becoming patchy and dry looking. For oily skin people, I think a grippy primer like Elf Power Grip or Maybelline Grippy primer would work well under this. I have Milk Makeup Hydro-Grip and I haven't tried it with that yet, but I will and follow up with my results! Maybelline and L'oreal have been killing it lately! They keep this up and I won't ever have to step into a Sephora again!

Long-Lasting Foundation with Great Coverage
Maybelline Super Stay Lumi Matte Foundation provides really good coverage while still looking natural. It blends easily, feels lightweight, and gives a smooth luminous matte finish. The coverage is buildable, so it works well for both everyday makeup and full glam looks. It stays in place for long hours without feeling heavy or cakey, and the shade 112 looks great on my skin. For the quality and performance, the price is excellent. A reliable foundation that delivers great coverage and long wear.

Best natural light weight foundation
This is the best foundation I have ever used. I had to return the first shade but then chose the next light one and it perfectly matches my brown skin plus it covers the marks perfectly. Itโs light and very natural on the skin. It really last more than a day and I donโt hv to give touch up. I m gonna be the regular user of this one.

Super love!
My new favorite! I've tried many high end and drug store foundations and this beats them all. I was a die hard Loreal 24 hour Fresh Wear foundation lover until they reformulated to the 36 hour version which I hated. Since then I've been wearing Maybelline Fit me Matte & Poreless which is nice but not quite as good as this. So happy to have found a smoothing, long wear foundation that doesn't aggravate my eczema or emphasize flaky texture. It also doesn't settle into fine lines which is becoming more of an issue as I venture into my 40s. The coverage is medium. I do still have to use blotter paper on my t-zone mid-day but that's normal for me. The foundation doesn't break-apart or come off with the blotter paper which is a win. I do have to mix two shades as there isn't a light true neutral tone.

Similar to Estee Lauder Double Wear & DIOR Backstage
This is the foundation that ended my search. Genuinely. Prepare for the yap I am about to serve. I was looking for a new lightweight natural-finish foundation for the longest, having only used the Armani Luminous Silk for the past 2 years and the Estee Lauder Double Wear (Original Formula) before that. What I find is that no matter how much I try to thin those out for a more natural look, they always ended up feeling slightly heavy and powdery, which gives it that cakey look. I am in my early 20s and have dry and textured skin, especially during the winter. I get dry patches on my cheeks and a bit oily on my nose sometimes. I've tried everything, using a hydrating primer, moisturizer, setting spray, etc, but it never gave me the finish that I wanted. So during the Sephora Sale this year, I got a few new options to try, including the DIOR Backstage Face & Body Foundation which I was told was more runny and thin if I wanted the lightweight feel. I compared that against the Lumi Matte a couple of times using a both a sponge and a brush and dare I say, the Lumi Matte ends up being my favourite side both at the start and end of the day. I don't know how to describe it but it is genuinely so lightweight, it feels just like a skin-tint but with a lot more coverage. I bought both the 110 and 112 to mix since I am a light-neutral skin tone and I find that the half and half ratio is perfect. I apply in thin layers using a flat brush and it covered all my acne scars and discoloration. The texture and formula feels really similar to the DIOR Backstage and the coverage and dry down is comparable to that of the Estee Lauder Double Wear. Its mostly matte but still has the inner luminosity and glow that peeks through. If you want a super dewy look, maybe this is not the one for you. But if you want something natural looking and light weight that gives a seamless coverage without emphasizing texture and scarring, then your search ends here. This is it. The cBeauty girls really cooked with this recommendation because this foundation is super popular in Asia. The moment I tried it, I knew the formula was goated, I just needed to mix and find my shade. But hopefully you can find yours without having to mix it. I recommend using a hydrating moisturizer or sunscreen underneath this, and applying it thin layers one section at a time since it sets pretty fast. Anyway, I hope this was helpful!
