These LEM 1ยฝ-inch clear fibrous casings exceeded my expectations. I used them to make homemade kielbasa, and they were very easy to work with after soaking. They stuffed smoothly without tearing, held their shape well during cooking, and produced a professional-looking finished product. The casings were strong, consistent in size, and peeled off easily after cooking. If youโre making kielbasa, summer sausage, or other smoked sausages, these are a great choice. Casing was easy to prepare for use. The casing was well tied off on one end with strong string and premade loop for hanging finished sausage with the hook. BUT, I was very surprised that the string to tie the other end of the casing was not included with this sale.
