Learning Microsoft Office 2007 (Prentice Hall DDC)

Any tutorial that starts out by telling you to start up your computer and then call up the program is a lttle TOO basic for me. I am an avid Wordperfect user who has to edit Word dox. Nothing in here helps me as I am computer literate and an experienced secretary. I tried looking up "redlining" in the index - nothing. Went to "compare" Comparing documents directed me to pp 660, 662 which unfortunately do not exist (the index page number was 564!) I find this to be very poorly laid out and uninformative. If you have an operating brain cell don't buy this.

I started out with the 2003 and once my job start using 2007 I ran out and ordered this book so I coule easily learn the new edition without having to go back to school. When ever there was a question or not sure how to do something I grab for my Office 2007 book and easily find my answer.

The book is a good book, but don't rent it...........the book I rented is like being used for more than 50 years ,but actually this book is only being published within 7 years..........Any way...Just DONT RENT IT!!!!!!

This purchase met my expectations.

This is an exellent text. The CD included is informative. My students were able to work independently because of the detailed instructions.
