Good quality and construction. The seem a little thinner than some other brands, however for what I am using them for ( plants ) that is not a concern. If I was growing something like vegetables, that might be more of a concern.

I am highly impressed with this 4-pack of 10-gallon fabric grow bags. The material is thick, sturdy, and heavy-duty, which prevents it from sagging when filled with soil. The handles are securely stitched, making it very easy to move the plants around my garden when needed.The fabric provides excellent drainage and airflow, which has completely prevented overwatering issues and promoted healthy root growth (no root circling!). They hold their shape perfectly and look much cleaner than standard plastic pots. Great value for a 4-pack—highly recommend for anyone growing tomatoes, potatoes, or larger vegetables!

Excellent drainage prevents root rot. Air-prunes roots, creating healthier root systems. Lightweight and easy to move with handles. Fold flat for storage. Generally less expensive than large plastic pots. Great for tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, herbs, and fruit trees. Cons Dry out faster than plastic pots, especially in hot Georgia summers. Require more frequent watering. Lower-quality bags may tear after a few seasons. Black fabric can get warm in direct sun. Real-World Performance Most gardeners report strong plant growth, excellent drainage, and several years of use when bags are cared for properly. Bottom Line: If you're growing plants at home or in a nursery setting, black fabric grow bags are a worthwhile purchase. Just be prepared to water more often during hot weather.

Very nice and sturdy but no way they are five gallons.

I’m a beginner gardener with a relatively small backyard, and I wanted to try grow bags as an alternative to building a traditional raised bed. After watching quite a few gardening videos, I kept seeing grow bags recommended for vegetables such as sweet potatoes and squash, so I decided to give these a try. So far, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well they’re working. I planted squash in one of the bags, and the plant has taken off and is already producing large squash. My sweet potato plants are also growing well. Obviously, the plants themselves depend on more than just the container, but these bags have been a convenient way for me to get started. The 20-gallon size is particularly useful because there’s enough room for larger plants while still allowing me to move the bags around the backyard using the built-in handles. I can experiment with different locations to find the amount of sun that works best without committing to a permanent garden bed. One thing to keep in mind is that fabric grow bags dry out faster than a traditional garden bed, so I’ve had to water more frequently, especially on warmer days. On the positive side, the excess water drains away easily, which helps avoid having plants sitting in overly wet soil. For a beginner like me, I also like the cost and flexibility. I can create a fairly substantial vegetable garden without the expense and construction involved in building raised beds. After seeing how my squash and sweet potatoes are doing, I’m planning to continue using grow bags for future vegetables.

Definitely cheaper than many other options. If you’re looking for true 5-gallon pots, these are not those. Given their dimensions, these hold approximately 3.9 gallons. Less if you fill them up to 1” or 2” inches below the border, which would bring the capacity down to 3.5gal to 3gal respectively. Material thickness is also not what you see on the photos, and there is no actual specification anywhere on the product description. I believe these may hold up well, but I don’t expect them to last long. For what you pay, these may be worth experimenting with, but if you’re following plant requirements, I would suggest going with the next larger size, or look somewhere else.

Planted four roses in these grow bags and they are all growing like crazy. I would buy more if/when I need to pot something big and don’t have space in the garden. I used these because I had an area in my garden that because my sewer lines ran under it I didn’t want to plant in ground and these would allow me to move my plants if necessary to get to the plumbing. I like them a lot

These grow bags are fantastic. They’re slightly shorter than my other 5 gallon bags but wider. I prefer the short and wide size for my tomato plants, and I believe they’re more comfortable in them. My early producers are currently in these bags. They’re well constructed, and I’ve used heavier than normal soil in them. The handles are easy to move the bags in any direction. They’re perfect for providing adequate root circulation. Although they don’t hold water, they don’t spill out the sides. Instead, they drain like well draining soil, soaking the entire plant. I love that I can spray the bottom of the bag to help water it as well. They’re priced at $8 for four, and you won’t find them cheaper or offer a better value anywhere else.

I'm using these to grow broccoli because they take up way too much space in my raised garden bed. These bags solved that problem perfectly since I can spread them out wherever I have room. The good: Drainage is excellent. No water pooling at the bottom like plastic pots. The fabric material feels thick and sturdy, not flimsy. Broccoli is doing well in them. Important to know: Grow bags dry out faster than raised beds because of all that drainage and airflow. You'll need to water more frequently, maybe even daily in hot weather. Just keep that in mind when you're planning. Size: 5 gallons is a good size for broccoli and other bigger vegetables. The bags hold their shape well when filled with soil. My take: Great solution if you're short on garden bed space or want to move plants around. Just be ready to water more often than you're used to.

Good sturdy planter . But definately not 5 gallons . Great for tomatoes plants .

A little on the thin side of what I’am used to ordering but they work just as well as the rest
