Hypafix Dressing Retention Sheets - One 6 in. x 10 yd. Roll

Toss those nasty rolls of first aid tape, this stuff is awesome. I originally had this applied at the hospital to a incision line on my knee. I was impressed with how it conformed and flexed with my joint, did not ITCH, and stayed-put. The tape is "fabric like" and allows the wound to breathe. Moreover, it can be cut to fit easily. Just place a gauze pad over the affected area, cut the tape, peel off the backing and stick it over the wound area.It is somewhat pricey, but having had such awful experiences with conventional first aid tape, I feel it's worth it, especially for larger wounds, particularly if they are located in an area that is going to move.

There is nothing better for covering a very large wound. It doesn't irritate your skin (make sure you use Skin Prep under it), doesn't hurt to remove it, stays in place for as long as you need it to, allows your skin to breathe, and is very soft and flexible. You can forget it is on. It is easily cut down to any appropriate size as your wound gets smaller. I bought the large roll and it has lasted a long time. My insurance won't pay for it, but I don't care...it is worth it.

Purchased this for my Medtronuc CGM. I cut this roll in half (lengthwise) and get square pieces. Keeps my sensor safe for the required six days.
