High Efficiency Dust Deputy Cyclone Vacuums Cleaner Filter Powder Dust Collector Separator Industrial (Original Version)

bought 2 and 1/2 inch hose from Amazon. (Workshop WS25021A).Comes with 2 fittings. Also bought 1 and 1/2 by 1 and 1/2 inch flexible rubber drain pipe connector normally used to connect sections of ABS sewer pipe. It has 2 adjustable clamps on it. Ace Hardware "Plumbquik" brand. $3. ought extra hose clamp for same. $2.slipped one end of rubber connector into end of vac hose. Other end of connector goes over intake on side of "dust devil. heated rubber connector with hair dryer just a bit so it would slip all the way over the intake easily. Tighten clamps. For top of dust devil I used one of the fittings that came with the Amazon vac hose. I cut the hose and inserted the fitting into the hose and used the extra clamop to secure it over the fitting. It uses no tape or anything, looks and works works perfectly. I spent lots of time screwing around with different stuff. but this was the solution.Tip Notice on youtube videos of DIY dust collectors with 5 gallon buckets how the owner has to pry the lid up to free the lid from the bucket. Its a pain. and tedious. Use an Ace Hardware bucket or any bucket that has a rubber seal in the lid. . Then cut the lid's vertical slots on the sides of the lid. When the vac is running you have a perfect suction seal. When the vac is off you can lift the lid to empty the bucket with one finger.

Works great for myabrasive cabinet, mounted under on 1gal paint can. Separates gasket pieces & etc from blast media. Allows reuse of media without a lot of sifting. Real time saver for my use.

Cyclone was easy to mount (I added a round piece of luan to the top of a 5-gallon pail lid for extra stability) with 1" 1/4-20 bolts. Fine dust as well as heavy chips are whisked to the bottom of the cyclone, preventing them from getting to the filter on the shop-vac that powers my dust collection system.Item arrived well within the shipping estimate, even though it was shipped from China. I would definitely recommend this cyclone to anyone setting up a small or even mid-size dust collection system.

The Cyclone Vacuum works great I use it on a sand blasting system.

Does not fit any standard pipe fittings or vacuum tubing.

There are no instructions or hardware that comes with the product. Look it up on you tube and it's explained what to do. I had a little trouble trying to figure out how to hook the vacuum ports to my shop vacuum since they were not the same size. I made my own adapters and it works a lot better than I thought it would. I tried making a home made one with a 5 gallon bucket but it doesn't come close to what this product does. It collects the dust and chips into a 5 gallon bucket and my shop vacuum stays clean and the filter does to. Great product for the price.

Half as costly as most others, works well. Hooking up was the same as others .Built the same ,sturdy construction . Mine came from China, worth the shipping time to save a little money .
