I was really excited when I got these. I love the assortment of nibs, but they seem to run out of ink quickly. After 2 weeks with these pens I have done a few drawings (zentangles and mandalas mostly) and here is how the pens worked out:I took extra care to use extremely light pressure with the 005 pen, but the nib still pushed up into the metal casing after a couple of uses and now I can't use it anymore :/The 08, 05, and 03 and basically dried out. I haven't really used these pens much and I never left the cap off so that's a little disappointing.The 1mm nib was a bit frayed when I first opened it, not unusable, but it doesn't make as crisp of lines as I would like.The rest of the pens are in good condition but they don't have much ink in them at all

These pens are great. Well made, they seem like they'll be durable. I'm not sure if the ink supply will last long or not, though, and for anyone who is expecting very black ink like I was (for lining pencil sketches) a quick heads up: they are more like a dark gray. Good for building up shading, but not so great for black line work. Still love them! I'm sure I'll be using them for ink sketching instead.

Bought them for the variety of nip especially the 002, but the ink is more grey than black and the nibs don’t feel very sturdy. Have the sukura Calligraphy and pigma along with the faber castell calligraphy markers and both are very dark black with solid nibs. Neither has the smallest nib that this product does but it’s a very small trade off. Spend your money on something else, cannot recommend ( unless you like grey ink and soft nibs)

Lol I only bought this for the pen brush which I like using, but I had lost my good ink pens somewhere in my room and couldn't find it, so I just used these pens to do the line art. The pens were running out of ink despite the fact they are brand new. The thinnest pen which is like 003, I think? It has like a different feel to it than the 005 and 01 pen. Idk if that's just me, but it definitely felt off. Didn't like using that one at all. The only reason I gave this a 3 star was for the pen brush (L) because I like how it covers big areas for what I need to be filled in and didn't bleed onto the next page. Granted if you use too much on the same area, some paper might peel, but not to the extent where it might tear a hole (from what I've seen through my sketchbook). Other than that, I'd avoid it entirely.

I purchased these so that I could add details to some of my drawings and paintings. After receiving them I was extremely excited to open the packaging and began a new piece, but unfortunately my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. The first marking worked well, but within seconds of trying to use these markers the ink wouldn’t show up, as if somehow the brand new, straight out of the box pens, were already completely dried up. Extremely disappointed..

I was specifically looking for true waterproof, non-smear pens. These are great. In the attached photo I ran a wet finger down the right side of the lines, sufficient to make the paper buckle. Not one smear. Writing smoothly with these pens are a pleasure. The only complaint I have about these pens is the tips on the three chisel points. They are scratchy and it was difficult to get smooth lines with them. The points were not cut well. But I wasn’t that interested in them, so I won’t miss them. If those three pens worked better I would consider this pen set to be the best you could find.

I do line and scribble illustration with these pens in less than two weeks they were out of ink. This not doing massive illustrations but just simple sketchbook drawings. The smaller fine points have poor ink flow even when new. I am very disappointed with the quality of the pens and would not recommend to anyone.

These pens were (almost) everything I was looking for. They do bleed through my 4" by 2" Staples notepad paper but are great on thicker paper. One of the thicker pens (1mm) straight up didn't work out of the package but I've fallen in love with the others. I'm incredibly picky about my pens and these have worked out great. I love a great capped pen with a needle tip. I usually prefer a 05 or 08 but I'm really digging the 02 and 03 as well as playing with the thicker pens. Would probably buy again or look for a pen set with fewer options as I constantly use only 3 out of 13. Good price though.
