I know anyone who has ever taken any kind of iron supplement may think that I have lost my mind by declaring that this one is tasty, but I actually enjoy taking this. The fact its in its own little pouch is ideal. No measuring cups and keeping the tonic in the fridge which sticks to the shelf when you've got a bit of the liquid on the bottom of the bottle. Yes, there is that usual irony taste, but it minimal to me. It has got a nice appleness to it. I will always by these from now on, as finding an iron supplement that 1. Doesn't make you constipated and 2. Doesn't feel like torture to take, is like searching for the holy grail. I have been anaemic since I very young and later discovered I have the Thalassaemia Trait which predisposes me to being anaemic, plus I suffer with IBS, so anything thats going to effect my digestion which is already up the spout, isn't very helpful. Spatone does not cause me any problems of that nature. I haven't been taking it long enough to notice a physiological difference, but thats because I haven't been taking it for long enough, but I do feel that its doing me good and is going to work. I even use it as a drink when I get hungry, as I am on a diet and a pouch puts some flavour in my mouth, acts like a drink, gives me iron and Vit C and helps stave of that feeling for a little longer, which buys me a little time, for me to be in a position to prepare a quick but simple meal in my own self made diet plan, as opposed to grabbing whatever I can get food wise, which is nearby and convenient, which is a no no. Very useful !

These are really good value. Myself and my daughter have been using them. Much prefer the apple flavour. Still have an iron aftertaste you soon get used to it. I am anemic so I have prescription iron but use these as an additional supplement. Spatone is much gentler on the stomach. My lab work show my levels are improving. I will continue to use them alongside.

Great taste

I like its consistency which is not unpleasant to the mouth. The smell, like any other liquid iron supplement, can be a bit noticeable in the beginning but you can get used to it. With that smell, the taste is not too bad. I believe it somehow helps with my serum iron level to stay on an acceptable level so I’m happy with it overall.

Love this product, easy going on the stomach and can take it anytime.

If you have any issues related to iron deficiency and fatigue. Plz buy this without a second thought. I must say do your blood test and if you are anemic , just have this for one month may b and do get check again your iron level you will be surprised. I was anemic since i was 24 and now i am 38, i have no more iron deficiency. Thats all i can say..

I started needing to take additional iron when pregnant. Tried the prescribed supplements a few times a week, Floradix and gummies. All either upset my stomach or tasted a lot like iron/blood. This tastes nice (a little like iron) and because it is in sachets and does not need to be refrigerated it is easy to take first thing on an empty stomach to maximise absorption. It’s not cheap and if you are pregnant one sachet is not much of your RDA but it worked well for me when combined with an iron rich diet.
