No scent and didn’t absorb bin smells. Cage popped open and deposited pouch in with the rubbish. Waste of money.

The product itself works great, no more stinky bin. However the adhesive securing the product to the underside of the bin lid is a complete fail. One of the two came unstuck when just removing the tape on the top of the adhesive strip, it didn't even make it to the bin! Luckily I had read the previous reviews and was prepared. I use 'alien tape' which is a double-sided adhesive tape fantastic for sticking two flat surfaces together. It seems to have done the trick. I have also bought a packet of activated Charcoal sheets that can be cut to size to replace the ones in my Trash Ninjas when the time comes. Tbh the company should sell these anyway to avoid unnecessary production/use/disposal of one-off plastic.

This is such a good idea: a filter inside a plastic "cage" that can absorb whiffs and then be easily replaced. Unfortunately, it doesn't work well: the cage comes open really easily, and in the three days before we finally just taped the cage closed, it must have dropped the filter into the bin half a dozen times when it opened for no reason. Funnily enough, the excitement of rummaging around in the trash wears off after the first few times! Works ok at reducing smells, but just not very user-friendly...

I’ve bought 6 of these now, great for eliminating odours. I know these are for bins but use 1 for under the kitchen sink and works great.

£9.99 is a bit steep in my opinion for something that does not hold the weight of odour blockers. Every time the bin closes (soft close bin) the sachet falls in to the bin. The scent is mild but certainly works. I wouldn’t say this is compatible with all bin types and if like above you have soft close bin then I only imagine a normal bin lid will make the entire thing fall off every time the lid is closed. It was fresh from the get go. It’s a fairly inconspicuous little device hardly noticeable. The holder is too weak to hold the heavy charcoal bag.

Sticky tape on back is rubbish, keeps falling into the bin, smell is almost none existent, not a good purchase, won’t be able to return due to amount of times this has fallen in the bin

I know this has some negative reviews but, for me, it worked wonders. At first I was disgusted when it arrived because I didn't know it only came as ONE deodorizer. I thought there were more than one in the pack. But after I put it in my garbage and realized that it got rid of every odor, I wasn't mad anymore and decided I would be buying this on a regular basis. I tried everything to keep my garbage from smelling, which came from cat disposal. Baking soda and disinfectant spray didn't do it. But this completely got rid of the odor. I mean no smell at all. I didn't expect it but, as I said, I'll be purchasing this on the regular. -- EDIT!!! -- It worked until it fell in the garbage. Not sure how this is supposed to last 3 months or longer when it doesn't even stay stuck to the lid for two weeks. Won't be buying again after all. A waste of money since it falls off and you don't even realize it. Money, literally, in the trash.
