dreame X50 Ultra Complete Robot Vacuum and Mop with 20,000Pa Suction Power

I’ve had this robot for a month or so now. I have a busy household with three pets. I was quite skeptical about robot cleaners in general but being time poor decided to purchase this one after doing some research. It has exceeded my expectations by a long way. My hard floors and carpets are cleaned to a very high standard. It’s not perfect it doesn’t replace the need to get the hoover out for a deeper clean. But it keeps on top of the cleaning and my floors and carpet look fresh and clean without needing to get the big hoover out every day and with the amount of pet hair in this house that is saying something. I have deep pile carpet and it works well pulling up the pile. The mopping function itself I am amazed at. The floors are scrubbed clean by this machine. It does a good job of cleaning and drying the pads too. In fact this machine takes care of itself really with the emptying of the water and dust. It’s really minimal maintenance. I’m also able to use the robot on the first floor by carrying it upstairs and creating a separate map. It works away from the dock and it comfortably hoovers upstairs without needing to recharge on the dock. It’s a great machine. It’s let down in my view slightly by an extremely unintuitive app and set up instructions that were confusing. Mine didn’t map automatically either so it was a faff getting this set up and working. But now it’s set up, it’s a breeze. It will randomly occasionally not return to the dock or you will get cleaning interrupted messages where it stops for no good reason but these are few and far between. The performance of this machine far outweighs the glitches and very annoying app. I am pleased I brought this machine it has been well worth the money. My floors are a lot cleaner and it saves a lot of time.

This robot vacuum is amazing. Full stop. It cleans and mops well. It navigates well, avoiding knocking into things. It is much quieter than my previous robot vacuum (Neato D7, which was great for its day). Also, I tried a Dyson AI Spot+Scrub before this. The Dreame X50 leaves the Dyson standing. Honestly, the Dyson was noisy, clumsy and missed many more spots than the Dreame. I got the white Dreame and it looks pefect in my living room, like a proper piece of furniture, and fits my decor. I could go on about the ease of refilling and emptying the tanks, voice control, and the almost infiniite configurability in the app. But honestly, just buy it.

Ok the machine itself is excellent. I’ve been using it for over a year. We have three Ragdoll cats and it keeps the floors clear of pet hair. It’s better on hard floors than carpet when it can struggle. In mop mode it does a great job but we have oiled wooden floors and it does lave the occasional drop of water on the floor which can stain if you don’t clean it up quickly. Not a problem on tiles but it is an issue on oiled wooden floors. You must clean this regularly to maintain performance. We keep two filters on the go which we change every week. We wash the dirty one out and leave it to dry and put the clean one back. This is a must with three cats. You also have to be careful with thresholds, the X50 can lift itself up to clear small steps and obstacles. We found it caused damage on our wooden floors leaving dents in the wood where it drops back down after climbing over chair legs and door thresholds. We have added exclusion zones to stop this but it means it can’t clean under our dinning table. Overall a solid machine but my main gripe is it’s impossible to buy spare parts. The Dreame site is always out of stock and I’ve found cheap Chinese copies bought on Amazon do not work. For this reason alone I will not by a Dreame product again. Why pay a lot of money for a machine they don’t support. I’ll try another brand next time.

A great robot! If you are searching for a robot vacuum and mop that will do it all, is easy to set up, manages obstacles with ease, easy to run and edit then look no further. After unboxing and setting up the base station and robot the fast mapping took around 10-15mins for an 8 room floor. What is great about this is that you then have the opportunity to edit by adding no zones, furniture, floor types and then choosing the order of rooms the robot will clean. We had the robot up and out cleaning within 30mins of unpacking! The map gets further refined as the robot cleans. Vacuuming is very good and the carpets look great. You have 4 different levels of power you can set from quiet to max intensity. Is it perfect, no. Little bits can be missed close to the edges but I would say that it gets around 98%. You can always send the robot back out to do a separate room or even a set zone in a room so it’s not really an issue. Mopping - our kitchen floor with our kids and cat looks clean all the time now. We haven’t had any major spills or dried stains but on normal use it is very good and I like how the robot cleans its mops. You can set the robot to either vacuum and mop at the same time or vacuum then mop. The latter takes long but gives a better outcome if you want a deeper clean. The robot is easy to manage via the app and scheduling tasks is super easy. Plus one great feature that isn’t using mentioned is that you can set the robot to charge during off peak hours. Our robot easily completes a full vacuum and mop on a single charge of our 8 rooms. Downsides - it can’t get every where and struggles with metal chair legs that are connected. Make sure you back up your maps as it is easy to delete it when trying to edit if you are not careful. The app makes this easy to do. Overall we are super happy.

The Dreame X50 has been an absolute game changer for our home. We have around 85 square metres of tiled flooring and it now mops the entire area every single night, meaning we wake up to spotless floors every morning. The mopping performance is excellent and the difference in cleanliness compared to manual mopping is genuinely noticeable. It keeps on top of everyday dirt, dust and footprints with virtually no effort from us. The vacuuming is equally impressive, navigating around the house intelligently and cleaning thoroughly without getting stuck. What I thought would be a luxury has quickly become an essential appliance. The amount of time it saves is incredible, and having consistently clean floors with zero hassle has completely changed our cleaning routine. If you're considering a robot vacuum and mop, the Dreame X50 is worth every penny.

This is an excellent vacuum for the price. I would recommend to anyone who needs a vacuum. It has all the high end features you could imagine. It runs very quiet and does a perfect job of both vacuuming and mopping.

Do not buy this product!! I was torn between this and the roborock and wish I had chose the roborock. Received the item and for nearly a week I could not use the app. Verification code didn't work therefore couldn't set it up. Customer service with dreame was horrendous, not helpful at all. Nothing against Amazon for the purchase but I would never use dreame again based on customer service alone!

Really impressed with the Dreame X50 Ultra. Great vacuuming and mopping, smart navigation, and the self-cleaning dock is a huge convenience. Expensive, but worth it for the performance.
