Best discrete camera for the price
Super small and the video is good enough quality for my needs of home security. It was simple to set up and the app is really good to be able to monitor the camera I just have it powered through USB to provide constant power. For the price, ease of use, and quality there’s nothing better I’ve seen. I’ve seen cameras that advertise as “small” and discrete but they are still big and the product images are deceptive but this camera is legit so discrete I can out it anywhere and it isn’t noticeable.

Tiny Powerhouse! Easy Setup, Great Detection, Perfect for Discreet Monitoring
I've been using the HiSpyCam Mini Camera DIY Module for a little while now, and I'm genuinely impressed. This is exactly what I was looking for in a compact, easy-to-use security camera. What I Love: Incredibly Small & Discreet: The description isn't kidding – this thing is TINY. It's amazing how well it blends in and how many clever spots you can find to hide it. Perfect for situations where you need surveillance without being obvious. Effortless Setup: I was worried configuration might be tricky, but it was surprisingly straightforward. I opted for the WiFi connection method (Way-3), and it connected to my 2.4GHz network quickly using the app. The instructions were clear, and I had it up and running in minutes. Does Exactly What It Promises: The core functions work flawlessly. The 1080p video quality is good, definitely captures the details you need. The motion detection is reliable; I get alerts promptly on my phone when it detects movement. Flexible Power Options: I appreciate the multiple ways to power it. While the built-in battery (70-90 mins) is fine for quick checks, I opted to use it plugged into a USB charger for continuous monitoring. It's great that it works while charging. App Functionality: The app for remote viewing and playback works well. Being able to check in live or review recorded footage from anywhere is the main reason I got this, and it delivers. The local SD card storage (supports up to 256GB!) is a huge plus for privacy and avoiding subscription fees. Minor Consideration: Battery Life: As expected with such a small device, the internal battery life is limited (70-90 minutes). This is perfectly fine for its size and intended use, but if you need 24/7 recording, plan on using it plugged in via USB. The fact that it can run while charging solves this easily. Overall: This HiSpyCam mini camera is a fantastic little device. It delivers on all its key promises: it's super small, easy to set up, the detection works well, and the video quality is good. It provides excellent peace of mind for discreetly monitoring a room, your pets, or as a general security cam. The flexibility of power and storage options makes it very practical. If you need a tiny, reliable, and easy-to-hide WiFi camera, this is definitely one to consider. I'm very happy with the purchase so far! Recommendation: Highly recommended for anyone needing compact, discreet surveillance. Just remember to get a good quality Micro SD card (Sandisk is suggested, and I'd agree).

Amazing Sneaky Camera
I’m really happy with this smart camera so far. Setup was quick and easy, and the camera quality is surprisingly clear for the price. It’s compact, lightweight, and works well for keeping an eye on things when I’m away. I also like that it came packaged securely and arrived in good condition. The motion detection and app connection work smoothly, and the video quality is good both during the day and at night. Overall, this is a great value for anyone looking for an affordable and reliable smart camera. I would definitely recommend it!

A good little camera
Have the S01 single camera and am very happy with it. The little camera on the flex cable is very inconspicuous so easy to hide it. Easy to use on a Halloween prop to act as eyes to see what is going on live as well as recording it (replacing a large ¾ inch sided cube camera I currently have on the prop so should be much less conspicuous than that). Hopefully the camera and cable hold up ok over time. Video and audio quality is good. Live video has no delay to very little delay (guessing maybe 200 milliseconds at most) which I needed for my interactive use of the camera. And this is in AP connection mode or remote connection mode. While the camera does not have night vision it does pretty decent in low light conditions. The live audio, however, appears to be delayed by a second compared to the live video (as well as this way in the recorded video), but for my purposes it doesn't matter as I use a separate microphone to hear live audio, and can edit the recorded mp4 file to sync the video and audio. Easy to flip the view horizontally or vertically to accommodate the positioning of the camera itself. For recording have tried it with a 256GB SD card as well as recording videos directly on my smartphone and it worked fine in both cases. Have not tried cloud recording. Also was able to download these files and play them back on my computer although if you are going to skip/seek to a certain time on the playback you need the right playback application/program as some will not allow you to do this with the mp4 files the camera produces (i.e. not allow you to seek to a certain time location on the playback). The vendor recommended the KM application which did work for doing this. The MPC-HC program also worked as well to handle this seeking. My windows media player did not allow me to skip. The file size on the SD card were about 17 to 20MB for a 5 minute clip in normal video (not high definition) so can theoretically store 44 days worth of video (have not checked if loop recording actually works for overwriting older files but assume it does). Even if the file size is 4 times as large could still store at least 11 days of video before loop overwriting. When using the SD card you can either remove the card from the camera and connect to your computer via an SD card reader to download the files, or you can download the files wirelessly to your smartphone using the HomeEye app and then download them from the smartphone to your computer (either vie usb connector or emailing, google drive, google photos, etc). Files on the camera SD card can be played back on the Smartphone as well in the HomeEye app (wirelessly accesses the SD card in the camera to do this). Battery power does work but did not test for how long as I mainly use the usb cord to continuously power it. HomeEye app appears to work fine using this camera. I have an older cube camera that used HomeEye but it no longer allows me to record the videos file directly to the smartphone for that older camera when it used to be able to do this for some reason. Only tried the motion detection and alert capability part of the intelligent detection (have not tried Human detection). Motion detection (using medium sensitivity) seemed to work for the very brief time I tested it and gave notifications to the phone. Captured photos mostly showed the moving object using medium sensitivity but I imagine it would show more if I played around with the sensitivity. Not sure why the camera itself does not support a direct URL for accessing the video from the camera like web cams do as this would allow more flexibility in local recording (ftp, rtsp, cgi, etc) as well as motion detection and allow many more apps to be used to do this. Wireless connection in AP mode or remote mode worked fine for me. Still worked when at least 34 feet from the WIFI router thru walls and inside a closed garage (didn’t check any farther). All in all a good camera so far for the price.
