Very good looking superb little knife.
Very elegant design. Beautiful clean lines. This is a small, graceful knife, for light duty and ideal for edc in an office setting. Definitely not a hard use knife. Very well made. Great fit and finish. Smooth action, solid lockup with no play whatsoever and blade is centered and very sharp.

Good, Small EDC Knife
This is a pretty good, very small knife. I was really surprised by just how small it is. I have L/XL hands, but the knife is still relatively easy to open. The detent is a little stiffer than I would like, but that seems better to me than the alternative. The blade was very sharp, lock up is solid, and it is extremely light weight. You could forget you're carrying it. For those with S/M hands, this might be an ideal EDC knife.

The new CJRB Kain is a home run!!!
The new CJRB Kain is a home run!!! What a great little buget knife from CJRB. It checks so many boxes. Size, shape, feel, looks, great thumb stud action, razor sharp, amazing liner lock access, and the cutest little pocket clip you ever did see. The aluminum version really looks & feels more like titanium. Makes for a terrific little "gent-carry" knife. The profile is very slim & non-threatening. But WoW, that blade is a real little poker (pointy pointy). Beautiful stone wash & extremely sharp outta the box. I will probably pick up the blacked out version with g10 also. Thanks for making such a sleek little knife at an affordable price CJRB/Sanford Owen.

Great knife
I love this item. The blade is great. The knife is excellently crafted. Very slender. Doesn't weight down your pants.

Seems dangerous to use due to how you unlcok it
The knife seems nice and shapr and has a locking mechanism that works rather well. It comes with a carrying case if you want such a thing and although it takes some force to open it, it does open nicely. Now my complaints, Unlocking the knife so it can fold and close involves putting your fingers on the inside between where the knife will fold and the handle, meaning that if you tried to close it carelessly you will cut your finger off. I find this to be an ENTIRELY flawed design, whether it's fairly standard or not, I don't know as I don't own any pocket knives besides this one. Even figuring out how to close this knife at all took me a good 3-5 minutes as I was thoroughly confused, why you'd ever want to put your fingers between the knife edge and the case to hold in the locking mechanism for releasing it is completely beyond me. Next is the rather cheap clip attached to the side of the knife, not only does this make holding the handle annoying, the clip isn't exactly quality and probably won't last long if you actually are clipping this "pocket" knife to your belt. It's a pocket knife not a belt knife. All I want to do with that clip is remove it.

I got one for me, and one for my girlfriend. She said it is very lightweight and high quality. Would buy again.

Worth It
This is great for the price. I never thought I would see the day that you could get such a quality knife for 40 bucks. It's lightweight and fits good in the hand. The liner lock keeps it good and secure in the open position. All the screws are inset leaving a nice smooth surface. Powder steel AR RpM9 is an excellent mid grade steel and it comes wicked sharp. Came good and centered. Pivot has washers so it's not going to be the drop shut action but it works great. Has great access to the liner lock to close the blade. Only complaint which for this price you can't have everything but it would be a captive pivot meaning it wouldn't take 2 bits to loosen or tighten. Hope this helps
