Retro Aviator Steampunk Polarized Sunglasses with Leather Side Shield Vintage Goggles Gothic Eyewear for Men Women

I got these as a less intense option to goggles for Burning Man and they worked fantastic for minor dust storms and generally protecting my eyes from the blaring desert sun. My boyfriend has a pair of expensive glacier sunglasses in a similar style but I wasn't ready to commit to that price point. The side panels are removable but fit in very snugly, with tiny holes for circulation. I was able to wear these the vast majority of my burn, only swapping for goggles when the storms really picked up. Highly recommend!

Thease glasses are really good. I would however like them to be darker. I love the side shields.

While the side pieces are good at blocking out the light the nose piece is pretty useless for that purpose. The lenses themselves are functional for their very low price point.

One year has passed. Still rocking them. Still looking good. Oversized a bit but, definitely understand why. These seem to be more of a glacier/ desert type design. Not entirely steampunk as that style is more late 1800- early 1900 and a lot smaller. I live in south Florida near the Everglades. Yeah, sunny, hot and sweaty. Rain- Hurricanes. These definitely help keeping the elements out of my eyes while looking very stylish. Tough hard plastics and nice side guards. I’ve driven with these and the sides do not affect my peripheral vision. Another review says it does. To me it doesn’t. Just look to the left and right as you normally do. You don’t have to break your neck to do so. The front lenses are large as to not create tunnel vision. I have ridden motorcycles and convertible cars with these. No problems with the wind or eye wetting. Definitely keeps the insects from eye impacts. I have the brown ones. Going to get off the fence and buy the black ones.

The metal hinge failed while wearing them, extremely poor quality.
