I think it will do as I want it to. Hooded next to skin base layer for winter hiking in deep snow windy above tree line conditions. Price is about what it should be. Better than 100 bux. Hood doesn't fit tight. Gap forms around your face cheeks when you pull the turtle neck up to cover your mouth. I would have liked it tighter so the wind doesn't catch it.The arms and torso are super long, so if you've a beanpole build, this should fit better than it did me.The material is super thin, so in my application, a definite plus. I hate the logo, but that was known before I bought it. It's just fugly and tacky, but again, hidden.Overall, if you want a hooded base layer, there's not much choice out there in the lower cost market space, so this one will do. If there is another option, I would definitely make a comparison.

This shirt suits my Cousin very well. He told me he really likes the material as it's Cool but keeps warm; he wears it all the time when he goes to a gym and running in the morning.
