These are cool. Nothing special, but they hold the weights tight, large handle makes easy to use, shipped fast.. and very fair price! Solid purchase.

It Works And A Great Value
These replace a pair like this minus the end grips. Which make all the difference.. Somehow I sprang the old ones. Long story there. I had them for over 25 years. They were always super stiff. Now 25 years later. My grip is a little less. And these fit the bill. More firm than stiff. Don't require a Kung-fu vice grip to open and close on the Olympic Bar.. Who knew..

Excellent for the price
The media could not be loaded. Tl;dr, this collar is excellent for the price.I have been using cheap, terrible Velcro collars for about a year. I was saving up to buy some expensive name brand collars, but decided to try these after a mishap with the plate sliding clear off during a farmer’s walk.For the price, these collars are pretty solid. The plates wobble a bit if you don’t make sure you have the collar on at the right angle, but it does not move back and forth on the bar. I feel a lot safer than I did using Velcro collars. The only real downside is these may not work if you have arthritic hands, as they do often require both of my (small) hands and some grip strength to get them in place.Note that I am relatively petite, so I haven’t tried these out with a massive plate stack. I’ve tried these collars up to 250 pounds on hip thrusts, and they have held the plates in place perfectly.

Okay with the pricing but not easy to use
one of the clip is smaller than the barbell, so it's really hard to put it on and off.Need to use 2 hands instead.The other one is fine

Durable, great price, comfortable
I’ve used ones in the past without the black plastic pieces and if your hands are at all sweaty it made it hard to squeeze the clamp out without it popping out of your hand. These are nice cuz it just feels like you got more to hold onto. The price is great so I bought (4) so I can use smith and barbell simultaneously. They seem very durable and have held up for months without losing their clamp strength
