Dorel Living Sierra Traditional Wood Twin Triple Bunk Bed in White

My 5'2" wife put this together almost entirely by herself. It's sturdy and heavy. I hurt a tendon in my hand moving the bigger box up the stairs by myself. Don't do it, not worth it. The middle safety rail, which is secured only via hardware into the bottom bed frame (no support from the structure itself or the vertical supports) seems like it might be levered loose over a long period of time. My daughter can hang on it and it doesn't move much, but it does move. It looks nice and the paint is fairly durable (akin to something you'd find on a crib or a kitchen cabinet). I'm 215lb and I can stand on the ladders just fine, though the bed rocks a bit if I do that. We are pleased with the quality. Be aware that you'll want to screw down the mattress cross bar supports before you do the ladders. =) UPDATE months later and a lot of kid abuse and this bed is holding up well. We lost one of the short screw in supports for the upper guard rail when a child decided to hang off it, but I drilled out a counter sunk bolt hole and don't expect that to be an issue going forward. There are now a few small dehydration cracks in the wood, but that's a result of living in the desert and using hardwood furniture. UPDATE 2 -- Two years later and an obscene amount of kid abuse and this bed is still doing well. The paint is wearing off in places where the bed has been stabbed and attacked with various objects, but the mid railings are still sturdy and the bed doesn't look structurally different than when we first assembled it. I'm genuinely surprised that the rails haven't torn off with my 50 lb kids hanging off them regularly (despite my warnings that this is a bad idea!).

We love these triple bunk beds. They're incredibly sturdy and they look beautiful. The manual says it'll take two people about 45 minutes to put together that is a straight-out lie. It took two of us many hours to assemble, probably four or five, and we have put together bunk beds before. It's definitely an involved process even though the directions are fairly straightforward. There are just a lot of moving parts and you'll probably make a mistake or two and have to undo a few steps, we certainly did. But the end result is beautiful and I'm excited to know that will have these beds for years to come even after we break them down into individual beds. Very happy with it.

The only thing I hate about this triple bunk is the support beams are not very supportive. I definitely have to add some type of bunk board on top to keep them from falling through. It’s also pretty scary on the top but it’s not that much taller than a regular bunk bed. I love that they all separate or you can take off the top on and leave a regular bunk. Makes it super easy as they grow!

Ordered this as the bed for my grandchildren. The directions for the triple stack were in the second box which we didn't open at first. The directions said it took 45 minutes to build the twin bunk bed part and it took my son and me over 5 hours. Some of the holes had wood in them so the hardware didn't fit right causing the screw not to grab properly. Assembly was frustrating. Finished product looks great! If I were to ever buy again, I would pay for the professional to make the beds.

I love this bed it is great quality, amazing space saver, arrived way before it said it was going to and my kids love it. It was easy to put together and it is not to tall like I thought it might be. The picture I posted is missing the stairs and middle side rail but we do have them and we did put them on 😉🤪

I’m updating this review... it’s been a year since I reported the missing parts to this bed. I was told I would be receiving them in a a few weeks and then a month... It’s still missing the hard wear to put it together! I can’t return it...it weighs a lot and I’ve put half of the bed together!!! I can’t Finish Putin’s the bed together without the hardware! It’s been a year!!! Send me the missing parts!

I purchased this item several months ago and task rabbit assembled it for me in 2 hours. I'm very pleased with my purchase. The frame is think and sturdy. I love that their are two stair ladders and they're attached to the frame. Im very happy with my purchase
