Kills those little suckers like crazy
First I tried a battery operated zapper, but it didn't do much of anything. Returned it and then bought this. What a difference. It kills no seeums, mosquitos, etc like crazy.1 star off because slide out catcher at bottom is not well designed and doesnt lock or snap in place. Slides out too easily and a little difficult so set just right. But otherwise very pleased. Extra bulbs are also a big plus

Works as advertised. Kills bugs like a prairie fire
We’ve had a heck of a mosquito problem here in North Texas this summer, and the little boogers were sneaking into the house every time someone opened a door, and eating up my grandbabies. Can’t have that! I bought one of these and set it up on top of an armoire in the kitchen, near the door that is used most often to come in or out. Pretty soon, BANG! .......ZAP! .......POP! Oh, it kills ‘em alright, and it’s about as loud as a .22 short being fired inside the house. Scares the crap out of my dog every.single.time. But I don’t mind, even if he does, because it gives me great satisfaction to hear those nasty things being vaporized. I’m fixin’ to buy another one for the back patio, and a third for the front porch...... although I’m a little worried that the ones outside will cause a bug fire and burn the house down. I’m telling you....it’s been really BAD this year!

Does NOT work for mosquitoes, flies nor similar size insects
For the zapper to work, the insect has to touch two of the wires to get electrocuted or zapped. The problem with this ISILER Bug Zapper is that the gap between the wires are too far from each other. I'm guessing the gap is around 1/3 inch. That's a big gap and will not zap mosquitoes, flies or similar size flying insects. In many occasions I've seen flies crawling on the wire themselves. I was hoping this will work due to all the positive reviews, but not for me.

Works Good-Free replacement bulbs not so good
Unlike my last bug zapper, this one does not get hot after two hours. Had it on for over a day in my garage. Warm in there with the door open. Did its job and killed all the bugs. It did get slightly warm after being in 85 degree heat for about 6 hours-but no problem. Started turning it off in the day and just running it at night. Very happy with it. Used one of the 2 spare bug lights in my old zapper-it had a burned out one. The replacement bulbs are constantly emitting a pulsating light all the time-very annoying and I noticed the unit is not zapping very many bugs anymore. Maybe they had a bunch of not so good bulbs and decided to give them away for free. The zapper itself does not have the pulsating light. UPDATE: 10/09/2018--Both replacement bulbs that came with the unit have burned out. One burned out within 10 days and the other was used part time for less than 3 weeks before it burned out.

Great bug zapper
We had a large mosquito problem ant this zapper works through the night killing them. It is quite loud when a mosquito gets zapped but at least you can hear when and know it's working. Seriously recommend it for mosquito problems.

Very happy with this great product!!!
I hate gnats and have tried removing them many different ways, ranging from glue strips to jars of vinegar with a drop of dish soap. Nothing does the job like these zappers. It took me a little while to get used to the popping sound resulting from a hit, but now I grin with delight knowing that one less flying nuisance will have the chance to bother me. We have four inside Siamese cats which are easily spooked, and were worried about the noise bothering them. They don't seem to mind now either. The cat litter is one source that promotes fruit fly populations, so one of the zappers is hanging in the same room with the kitty litter, and doing a fantastic job of eliminating the gnat population.

DOSE ITS JOB BUT HAS 1 Flaw
Close to a 5 star. should have bought months ago. WOW nice feeling hearing the Shock go off on those dam flies. Here tho is the problem seems like the 2000 volt shock sometimes stuns them really bad. Some not alot of those flies get away. If you have or had a bad fly issues get the stronger voltage. I am happy for know but would have spent a little more on the stronger voltage. Still not a bad product and dose a great job in the kitchen. Leave above the fridge or near a window. Best of luck PEACE ....

Had to replace one bulb within a week. Got zapped.
We have only had it a week and it is working but I had to replace one of the bulbs today. It is not easy and I found out that even after you have unplugged the unit it can zap you. I got hit twice once when taking it apart and once after checking the bulb was working. Be careful as the unit seems to maintain some power after it is unplugged. It does seem to be working as we have heard the sound of bugs getting zapped. I don't have a spot to hang it but think it would work better as the bugs would only have one way to get to the light and that is via the zapper lines.
