Q: Has anyone found a carrying case for this yet?

The Texsport Canvas Duffle Bag 50x30 fits mine perfectly. It has a big handle in the middle or two handle on either end if you have help carrying the hammock stand. There are several vendors selling it on Amazon.

Yes, that should be fine if you bring it in during Winter.

Q: The fox (neolite) double hammock says it measures 10 ft 6 in. will that work with this stand?

We have the ENO double nest and it fits perfect but it's only (L x W) 9' 4" x 6' 2". It sits high enough off the ground that I have trouble getting into it (I'm only 5'2"!). I'm not sure how low the extra 14 inches would put you.
