Matchbox Downtown Demolition Playset, multicolor

This is a very neat toy. If your child loves construction then this is a great addition. Very fair priced, comes with a lot. Not many wrecking ball toys on the market and this is a good one. Wish the crane was a little more durable (some stress marks in the plastic from my not so gentle son) . That said, this is a very interactive toy so kids (and adults) can spend some time on it. Highly recommend.

This is a really awesome set. My 6 yo loves it and it's simple enough for him to operate. All you have to do is slide the gravel pile (which is a lever) and it erects the structure back up and into place. All you have to do then is hang the windows and places the ramps back on. It's a cool set for the future contractors of America.

My kid loves Matchbox/Hotwheels cars and construction vehicles so this was a no-brainer. This set is pretty cool, it basically let's him simulate the demolition of a building. There is a spring loaded mechanism that allows you to collapse the building with a switch, and a bunch panels that you can knock off with the wrecking ball crane.Overall it is a very fun set.

I bought this as a gift for a 3 year old boy. He and my 3 yr old daughter had a blast playing, building, and demolishing this toy. It's a little tricky to "lock" the building so it doesn't fall when touched, but that was the only part they needed help with.

Our set won’t set to the setting to build it. They push it to that point and it snaps back about halfway. The kids are very frustrated. I’ve pulled on the elastic to see if it’s just needing to be stretched but as fun as the set is I don’t have time to sit and hold the lever while the kids build it. As soon as I let go it fell without the kids help. The boys love the set but they get too frustrated to play it alone.Updating to add after 48+ hours and several rebuilds holding the lever it has started holding. The kids love playing with it and I’ve heard no screams of frustration today because it won’t stay up.

My son loves anything related to construction. This set surprised me on how long it kerps him occupied. He can easily spend 30 minutes knocking things down and building them back up again. Clever idea and sturdy construction. Only one complaint, the crane tower base could use a more secure connection as it comes loose often.

My son received this as a Christmas present in 2021 and it barely lasted a month, At first It worked OK and would stand up mostly sturdy when locked into place and would collapse as described however now when locked into place it does not stay up and is halfway collapsed. As much as we paid for this I would’ve expected more but the old saying goes nothing is made like it used to be. Do not waste your money on this product!

This was way better than I expected! There were so many little details with this toy. It kept my 5 year old and 9 year old busy for hours. This was a toy they both liked. For such a small set it really kept my boys interest.
