Had this for almost two years now! I absolutely love this rotary cheese grater! It is incredibly easy to assemble, use, and clean. The blades are sharp and shred cheese quickly with very little effort, making meal prep much faster. The cheese comes out perfectly shredded every time, whether I'm using cheddar, mozzarella, or parmesan. One unexpected bonus is that my kids love helping in the kitchen with it! The hand crank design is simple and safe enough for them to help shred cheese for tacos, pizza, and casseroles. They think it's fun, and I love getting them involved in cooking. The suction base holds it securely in place while using it, and the different blade options make it versatile for vegetables, nuts, and more. Overall, this is a great kitchen tool that saves time and makes food prep much easier. Highly recommend!

Fist off, yes absolutely happy with it. I used it for cheese, apples, carrots and cucumbers. It is new so it is expected to be sharp and it is. We'll see how long it stays that way. For now, even soft cheese grates perfectly on the fine and coarse grater insert. The cucumber slices had just the right thickness for my salad and the carrots on fine grater came out fantastic. The last slice of whatever does get eaten, sort of, and rides between the drum and casing. However, that is how these things work and I had no problem with chopping that last bit by hand. Clean up is awesome because it is just rinse and go. The parts snap together and fit tight. It also stuck to my counter solidly until I released it. Total time saver because it is so easy to put together and take apart. Based on my experience, I can only recommend this addition to my go-to tools.

So I said "honestly if it broke next week I would buy another one, that's how much I love it." in this review. Well guess what? I broke it and (after crying my eyes out) I purchased another one that came today. The break has nothing to do with the quality of the grater! It was totally my fault because the clear plastic barrel was a bit hard to get off and I whacked it with my fist which caused it to fly through the air and bounce around on my tile floor, which cause it to chip and send pieces everywhere. Let's hope I can keep this one! Oh how I wish I purchased this sooner because EVERYONE would be getting one for Christmas! This little cheese (and veggie and whatever else) grater is amazing! I just grated 2 one-pound blocks of mozzarella in under 3 minutes...no lie! As soon as I cleaned up, I came to my computer because I just had to write a review. I grate a LOT of cheese every week - cheddar for our weekly Taco Tuesday nachos and tacos, mozzarella, pecorino romano and provolone for casseroles and chicken parm, and 4 blocks of Alpine Cheddar when I make my home-made macaroni and cheese. Standing with the box grater at the kitchen counter for who knows how long was just getting to be too much. I am only 5' 2" so I could never really get the leverage needed to make it a speedy (and non-exhausting) task. Never mind trying to keep the box grater from dancing around the counter and trying not to grate my fingers in the process! This grater is quick to assemble and dis-assemble (makes clean up a snap!) and then can be stored right back in the box. I have Formica counter tops and the suction cup kept the grater right in place. I suspect it would be just as good on any stone counter top. The turn knob on the side makes it easy to stick in place and easy to remove with just a twist of the knob. Three different cartridges allow you to grate a nice variety of items - fine grate for more delicate cheeses or chocolate; medium grate (I used this one tonight for the mozzarella for our pizza) for cheese, carrots, veggies; and the slice cartridge for veggies (I am going to use it for zucchini next). It seems to be quite sturdy as well and honestly if it broke next week I would buy another one, that's how much I love it. You won't go wrong with this. And it comes in a fun variety of colors!

Just got this today. All 3 barrels work. Easy to assemble (slide, click,click) and turn handle. Definitely saves time & your knuckles! Great for the people who put cheese on Everything!! Pics show 2 style of shred. There is a slicer barrel that cuts thin uneven slices, but again beats slicing a whole brick. Was very easy. Would give 5 stars, but time will tell about any rusting and sharpness. Very affordable. Great gift for a cheese lover for sure!

I love this grater. Before I was cutting my hand on the old ones so much, but with this it is easy to crank and works so smoothly. I love all the different attachments for different grating purposes. Easy to clean too! I love using mine. Great value

I dread shredding cheese, and usually buy pre-shredded to save time and wrist/hand pain, as I have carpal tunnel in both hands/wrists. But then I kept seeing this same giant block of cheese on sale at my local grocery store, and couldn't pass it up anymore. I bought the block of cheese, but needed to solve my problem of shredding it. I was afraid it would end up staring back at me in the fridge every time I opened it up, and eventually go bad. I was looking for something similar to what they use at Olive Garden to shred the fresh cheese on your food, and then..... I found this amazing product! What I like about this product: It's nice and sturdy! The parts are all plastic, but they don't feel like they're going to shatter if I look at them the wrong way. The unit snaps together very cleanly with little effort, and comes apart just as easy to toss in the dishwasher for cleaning. I LOVE the suction feature on the bottom of the unit, which keeps the whole thing in place while you're rotating the arm and shredding the cheese. I shredded the giant 6lb block of cheese in around 10 minutes. The hand crank is very easy to rotate and drastically reduces the time it takes to shred your favorite blocks of cheese. What I don't like about this product: The suction cup doesn't always stick. You have to make sure that the bottom of the unit is completely clear of any particles, because any surface difference between the bottom of the shredder and your countertop will break that seal and cause it to come loose. Also, you will need to shred slower than you'd like if you don't want the barrel to get clogged with cheese. If you rotate it at a slower pace, you can still clear it out manually fairly easy, but also the cheese tends to roll out much more often when you go slower. If you rotate it too fast, the cheese goes into the barrel too fast, and gets stuck. That's when you have to take it apart and clear the clog before you can reassemble the unit and keep shredding. Overall I recommend this over any standard flat or box cheese grater, especially if you have wrist or hand strength issues. Score: 4.5/5

It would not lock to the table and kept moving. It has to lock for smoother use. I cut the block of cheese in fours, I put the second block in and it all got stuck in the grader.

I should have bought this sooner! No more grating by hand being nervous to cut myself or wearing my arm out. This is so so easy to use and clean. My kids can use it safely too!! Definitely a great purchase so far!

My Mum had a metal grater, smaller but a lot similar to this - that after 60 years started to breakdown. Been looking for a replacement for years. When I bought this unit, was concerned being plastic and larger she might find it more difficult. But she absolutely has been SO happy with it, saying how easy and quick it is to use. Some features noted - easily able to lock it in place and release. It may be of interest - you cannot make chips, but can make potato scallops. When buying gifts online it has been difficult to judge the quality and whether the recipient will like it - but in this case it was a WINNER! An older food processor was put in the cupboard and this takes it's place on the kitchen counter.

What i ordered they deliver the cheep and very small size. Totally disappointed with the seller.

Excellent and easy to use and time saving specially if you prepare bulk SASLAD or bulk things to cut.
