Classic Signature Espresso Machine, Adjustable Milk Frother

Absolutely love this espresso machine! It makes delicious, café-quality espresso right at home and is easy to use once you get the hang of it. The steam wand is great for making lattes and cappuccinos, and it looks beautiful on the counter. A great choice for anyone who loves their daily coffee!

I love mine!!! It simply makes perfect espresso with ease. Frother works great too! Surprised me that the price was so low, but every DeLonghi products have never disappointed me so I took the risk. I strongly recommend this if you love no frills, simply delicious espresso coffee.

So far so good! This is an initial review. I will update it with time. Our of the box, I followed the prep instructions, which was washing the accesories and running the empty portafilter with filtered water three times in a row with the double espresso setting. Threw in some pre-ground Magma Espresso Blend from Volcanica Coffee (I LOVE this company) to test. Grind was too fine, so I had to pull two double shots in a row. So, not an espresso in religious barista terms, ha-ha, but still good coffee with a little sumpin' sumpin' in the crema department. 😁 I had a Breville Barista Pro months ago I had to return to Amazon because out of the box the pump sounded too strained for my criteria and I had a gut feeling it would fail with time. This baby D's pump sounds normal and unstrained. Will later test with properly burr grinder-ground coffee beans and do the whole scale weight and time thing. But for now, this little guy makes good coffee the non-snob way as long as you use proper grind size and tamp it evenly with the included accessory. 🤓

I had a dual espresso/coffee maker from De’Longhi for 13 years. Since I didn’t really use the coffee maker much, I decided to get this machine. I cannot tell you how much I love this. It’s mostly automatic, dispensing just the right amount of espresso and frothing for the perfect amount of time, so it’s easy to use. Easy to clean, too.

This is the first time I bought an espresso machine and I’m loving it! It’s so convenient and cost efficient instead of buying lattes from the shops every day. The machine is light weight and compact. Also it’s very easy to setup. The espresso is prepared very quickly plus the taste and quality is amazing! The only issue I have with the machine is the Portafiler. The inside part of it is made of plastic. I’m sure it must be appropriate material for an espresso machine but I would always prefer to have stainless steel and I’m going to buy another portafilter. Overall I feel it’s a great purchase.

I’ve had this De’Longhi Classic espresso machine for approximately one month, and I prepare three coffees every day: two for myself and one for my husband. It uses ground coffee because it doesn’t have a built-in grinder. The portafilter is very easy to fill, insert and remove, and I can choose between a single or double espresso. I mainly use the double button because I prefer a slightly larger cup. One of my favorite things is how quickly it heats up. In my experience, it is ready to brew in just a few seconds. The espresso tastes rich and develops a beautiful crema, while the pressure gauge lets me watch the extraction pressure. It also includes an adjustable milk frother. I’m still learning how to get the exact texture I want, but since I normally drink my coffee black, the espresso quality is what matters most to me. The portafilter and removable parts are also easy to clean. After using it every day for one month, I’m very happy with this machine.

This De'Longhi EM450M coffee maker although it is Italian named it is "Made in Indonesia", I understand it is the lower Model feel that it does not completely meet that standard of a De'Longhi name. It lacks intensity, flavor and the amount of expresso vs foam for each cup is very little. The design is very beautiful, elegant and modern. It is so SLOW preparing coffee. The preparation of heating up the coffee arm and then the milk frother takes time. I really expected the time to actually make a shot and go to use the frother would take less time heating up, it does not. Then have the same time running water through both parts to clean. So, I am using the microwave to heat my Latte up. As for its tank, it is quite good, because of its size and ease of filling it. I bought a tapper, no need because I never get a puck, it's soup. The coffee scoop has a slightly rounded flat end, so it doesn't stand up. All the accessories are low quality. I will look into moving up a model or two. This was to be my retirement present to myself. As for not Starbucks and BBiggy will be my go to.

I returned it quite fast. Tldr: feels cheap, not hot enough, inconsistent shots, flimsy, not worth the money. I have had a delonghi espresso machine for 7 years, just the small one that is 15 bar with the turny knob and a steam wand. It has performed well, and I love it very much. I use it 2-4 times a day for drinks for me and my husband. I was a barista at a craft coffee shop, so I'm picky about my espresso. I decided to treat myself to a new machine and this one seemed like a direct upgrade, and comparable, to my old one. I ordered it. It came in. Packaged well, clean, no damage, ect. However, I immediately noticed the machine was flimsy, cheaper plastic, and felt lower quality than my other machine. I didn't think much of it, plugged it in, and waited (what felt like forever) for it to warm and indicate it was teady. I began tamping my fresh ground espresso. I couldn't get 18g of grounds in the basket, even with my tamping kit. The gauge on front of the machine only moved when actively pulling the shots, unlike machines I've used in the past, where you can gauge the pressure before beginning extraction. Tamping at 30lbs, I couldn't for the life of me get a 2oz shot, it was pulling WAY over (4oz) or I'd only get 1oz. After my 4th attempt I got an acceptable double shot of espresso with a good crema on top. And I couldn't replicate that. I tried 4 more times to get a decent double shot and couldn't. I've never had this much issue with consistency in an espresso machine. Weighing, doing everything exactly the same, no luck. I also realized some of the shots came out steaming hot and some were just a little over warm. Espresso is picky and the flavor will be awful if it's not extracted at 195F and there was definitely something wrong with the temperature gauge. I didn't have a thermometer or I would have checked it. After much frustration, I just cleaned the machine and put it back in the box. It makes espresso shots. It steams milk, it just seems like a 90% chance that it won't be good, and for $200 I'm not willing to settle for inconsistency and frustration. I caved and ordered the Arte Evo, in hopes it will be a better machine, especially for the price.

The De'Longhi Classic Signature Espresso Machine may be an entry-level machine, but it has features that put it well above some competitors in this price range. The stainless steel body and pressure gauge are just two examples that put this compact machine ahead of the competition. The adjustable frother, as well, is easy to use for both warming milk and creating a velvety frothed milk for lattes and cappuccinos. Note: This is primarily an espresso machine, so don't buy it expecting to make your regular cup of joe. The presets for single and double Expressos are just that, so the volume of coffee it produces is for these sizes of drinks, along with cappuccinos and lattes. Not your standard cup of coffee. With that point aside, the De'Longhi Classic Signature machine really delivers on the three types of coffees noted. The removable 1.7L water reservoir is easy to fill and even has level markers on it for when you eventually want to descale the machine and need to mix a descaler and water in the correct combination. The portafilter, single & double filter baskets, scoop and tamper all get the job done too. Overall, I was impressed by the compact size, easy-to-learn controls and the integrated frothing wand. While I may not be a barista, I'm quickly learning and improving my skill set when making espressos, lattes and cappuccinos. A recommended buy if you are considering an espresso machine for your home, that is from a reliable brand and offers a good overall build quality and some of your favourite coffee drinks.

Es bellísima, me enamoré de ella. Como tip, cambien el portafiltro, compren puck screen para cuidar su ducha y compren un descalcificador De'longui, pero hagan estas compras al mismo tiempo que les llegue la cafetera para mejor cuidado y mejor provecho de su potencial. Estéticamente es hermosa

This is one of the best decisions I have ever made- why did it take me so long?! This little beauty is super easy to use and makes the most gorgeous coffee; I was brand new to this game and it only took about two attempts before I got it down to perfection. Given that a cappuccino costs at least $6 having this at home is a huge money saver without sacrificing fabulousness. It’s easy to clean and takes no time at all. Got it on sale as well, so it would have been rude not to buy it. Highly recommended

En efecto la maquina si tiene cierto olor y "sabor" a nuevo que se le quita eventualmente, en el manual dice como curarla para que se le quite, nada tan extremo como para devolverla, el cafe es increible, buena potencia y muy facil de limpiar, pero se recomienda leer el manual de instrucciones. en definitiva fue una compra excelente.
