I give it 4 stars because EVERYMAN JACK has discontinued this product for what ever reason I do not know.As for your skin if it is sensitive it works very well. I can definitely attest to that.It is a very good product don't worry there are no side effects.

Works great and no old man smell!
I like using Every Man Jack Shave Cream because I don't want to have that old man smell that normal shaving cream leaves me with. The shave cream does an excellent job lubricating the blade and doesn't leave any greasy residue feeling, while the mint scent is not overpower in the least.Unlike what others have posted, I don't have any problems with this shaving cream clogging my blade. If I may offer an observation for those who have posted that the shave cream is sticking in their blades. I'm no expert but I've used shaving creams like this off and on since I was in the Navy and had to go on temporary submarine assignments. If the shaving cream is gunking up your blade, you are using too much of it or you are trying to shave too much surface area before rinsing your blade. If your blade is clogging, use less cream next shave, and then the next, and then the next. Do this until you aren't getting enough lubrication from it. You will be surprised how little you need to use. If you are still having issues, be sure you are rinsing after every down-stroke. That should take care of your clogging problems and give you a better shave. If you just can't make it work, I recommend using Every Man Jack's Sandalwood Shave Gel. You can easily use too much of this just like you can the cream, but you can get away with it not clogging your razor. Of course, you are wasting a fairly expensive product but your clogging problems will be solved and you will be left with a fresh sandalwood scent.

Unscented Men’s Shave Cream
Really quite a contrast from other cream shaves which cost three times as much and more expensive. By brand and by fragrances— the main critique is it’s weight and texture— this cream shave has a lighter composition than a name brand. Since it’s ‘unscented’ the fragrance smells more like tge product’s container, like plastic. Yet it won’t interfere with wearing an after-shave after shaving. For the price point it’s a bargain. But if you’ve been accustomed to shaving with something heavier textured— go with your gut feeling and stick with the original one— if it’s worth your weight on a staple item in the medicine cabinet that’s to your liking. The product overall is fine. No doubt. Just less bang for the buck.

He loves it
Saturday morning, my man sits on the kitchen stool and I give his head the shave that results in the soldier-of-fortune masculine look that I love. I continually seek to refine my technique. The HeadBlade device is one he likes a lot. But any razor glides more smoothly with Every Man Jack. Step one: steaming towel wrap. Step two: Pansonic Facial Trimmer delicately on the ears. Step three: a very thin layer of Jack massaged evenly throughout the scalp area, back of neck, tops of shoulders. Step four: HeadBlade ATX shave, with frequent rinsing of of blades in hot water. Step five: warm cloth to clean off remaining shave cream, with head massage noting any rough spots that need a little more shave for perfect close smoothness.Step six: I get a little romantic reward as my tip for good performance!EVERY MAN JACK gives way better performance than standard shaving creams. It's a little heavy -- a bit more effort in keeping the blades clean between strokes. I keep an old toothbrush handy if it doesn't rinse out easily. My man generally isn't into fussy grooming products, but his Saturday head shave seems to be the exception. Works for him, works for me.Panasonic Facial Trimmer: [...]HeadBlade ATX: [...]

My favorite
This shaving cream is great; it protects your face, it's fragrance-free, and it has a good texture. It's thicker than some shaving creams, which is good for getting under the hairs and keeping the blade from cutting your skin, but it does take a little bit more effort to wash off. The easy way is to just use a small moist towel. It's also important to keep rinsing your razor well multiple times. I've been using this cream for years and I'm very fond of it.My policy tends to be that it's worthwhile to spend more than the bare minimum on cosmetics, but once you start to get to the top-of-the-line products your cost-to-value ratio starts to skyrocket. Every Man Jack has been a good medium for me. Barbasol is cheap and classic, but it quickly starts to make my skin rubbery so that if I take too long to shave, it actually makes it *harder* for the razor to take off the hair. However, my local store no longer stocks Every Man Jack and Amazon keeps making it more and more expensive (it's over $8/tube now, it was $6/tube about a year ago), so I am going to have to branch out and try something else, sadly.

Every Man Jack VS Cremo VS C.O. Bigelow
I had difficulty finding my usual shave cream (tube variety, not from a can), and decided to look at some reviews of other shave creams and to try these three and compare:C.O. Bigelow Premium Shave Cream with Eucalyptus Oil 5.2 oz.Every Man Jack Shave Cream for All Skin Types-6.7 ozCremo Astonishingly Superior Shave Cream 6 ozI have to admit that I felt all three provided a nice smooth shave, I can't say that I noticed anything different about the end result of my shave in terms of closeness or smooth skin. The difference primarily comes in the creams themselves. The C.O Bigelow had a rich (but not foamy) lather that covered nicely. I liked the eucalyptus scent, though it was not as nice if you happened to get it in your mouth, and it left a tingly sensation. The Cremo too had a nice lather and a pleasant, more subtle scent. The Every Man Jack had a texture that felt more like a skin lotion and not much of a lather. And after a razor stroke it didn't always feel like it left enough lubrication to go over the same area more than once or twice.Overall, I would have to say I preferred the C.O. Bigelow and the Cremo. I think I would get the Cremo again because I like a less scented and less tingly feeling shave. The Cremo would work fine as an every-day shave cream for me.

Works well
This cream is easy to apply and leaves skin feeling moisturised once shaving is finished. The only downside I find is that during shaving, the cream builds up on the blade and is difficult to dislodge. Apart from this negative point I really like this product.

The best for sensitive skin.
It is very rare to find a shave product for sensitive skin that doesn't contain irritating perfumes or essential oils. This doesn't and is the best shave cream I have found because of that.

Creamy and good for sensitive skin
Great shaving cream which is ideal for sensitive skin. Always use it now and so much better than anything else that I’ve tried.

Shaving with body lotion
This isn't what I expected. The consistency of this product is like a body lotion, it doesn't lather at all. You have to use a pretty fair amount of the product to get good coverage for a couple of passes with your razor and I believe because the product is so thick that it doesn't really give a very clean shave. If you're used to using a badger brush this product won't work for that purpose. I've heard about people mixing something like this with a soap but that's just a waste of time for me.This is better than using a harsh soap if your skin gets irritated easily but I don't like the consistency of the product. It's just the same as trying to shave with body lotion (which I would never do...).
