These are quite amazing. But I’ve only used them once so I’ll update if that changes. I try to drink a lot of water but it’s hard if the water isn’t ice cold. I have an ice maker but the cubes tend to stick together and it’s a pain trying to get them apart and they seem to melt quickly anyway. I have tried the plastic reusable ice cube balls. They didn’t stay cold and made the water taste weird. So I finally gave these whiskey stones a try with not a lot of hope. I wish I would have tried them sooner. I put 2 of them in my tumbler last night around 7pm and my water was still cold at 8am this morning. I took the stones out of my tumbler to wash it and they were ice cold still. So far it’s a 10 star review for me.

These work well enough! If I had to critique them, I would say that they do not stay cold as long as I would like. Then again, normal ice just melts and dilutes your drink, so I guess I can't complain too much. This seems like a limitation of physics rather than product quality. For those worried that it might add a metallic taste to your drinks, I have never detected one

These are Stainless Steel Chilling Cubes by Kollea In other words...reusable ice cubes!! I've gotta say that the world has come up with a lot of things over time but I never thought I would live to see reusable ice cubes... There is probably someone alive who didn't think they would live to see someone make millions off of bottling water either. SO....reusable ice cubes. I am on the fence about these.... You see, I don't drink often..if ever but when I do, I really need my drink ICE cold. While these things have the potential to slightly cool down your drink, making it ICE cold doesn't really seem like these cube's forte. Now, I will disclose that I did not entirely use them for their intended purpose as in the description is DOES say that they are for whiskey and I did not use them in whiskey but instead, I used them in a nice glass of Dr. Pepper. Why? Well as I said, I am not a drinker and I do believe that if you are going to make something that could potentially "chill" a drink, it should be able to, indeed, "chill" any drink. The outcome? Well, it did "chill" it...unfortunately I have a hard time drinking anything except coffee or hot chocolate without it being a couple degrees about freezing so this didn't really work the magic for me. On the other hand, I do know that some people prefer that their whiskey not be as cold as the surface of Pluto so I do believe these would work in that instance. Another thing that I personally didn't care for was the fact that it didn't take the cubes long to go from freezing cold to room temperature..so I can see why it really wouldn't make anything ice cold... The good things about this? Well for one, it comes with its very own carrying case complete with 6 cubes and a pair of tongs to handle the cubes if they are just a little too cold or if you don't want germs in your glass. The whole set is nice a sturdy and well made so I will say that the price tag us probably right where it should be as many other sets like this are around the same price so I believe that's pretty fair. Oh and by the way...ladies. If you ever needed something to help close up your pores after a facial, these work great!! My final say?? Well...as I said, I am on the fence about this one. I really think this a readers decision. Would I personally buy them? Probably not. The plain old ice cubes work better, I don't have to wash them afterwards, and it gets the drink about 100 times colder than these do. HOWEVER, I do believe that if you are a whiskey drinker, these might be perfect for you. It chills down the drink enough and it obviously doesn't water down the drink so these may just be the thing you were looking for all along!!

Waaay better than stones. I love these. 2 or 3 in a three finger pour and it chills it- not like ice- but perfect. And doesn’t dilute the water quality of the drink. That I can get behind.

These are whiskey stones. It's in the name. They are made to chill whiskey, not coffee or sodas or whatever else. On first use, mine chilled down to 46 degrees. A little too cold, so I'll just use less of them next time. If you're looking for colder, then buy something that's made to chill colder, not these that are made to chill to like 55.

nice, fancy, but don't stay cold for long I used them in my mixed alcohol drink(s) and they are warm / not old after one drink. if you buy a set, 4 cubes per drink, and plan to only drink one glass / cup, they're fine, otherwise, plan to use 4+ per drink x whatever number of drinks you are having

Gave as a gift. Can be reused. Comes in nice packaging. Good quality cubes. Comes in a nice storage container for when not being used or for in the freezer. Nice value. Presents well on a bar but also can be used in place of ice for any drinks.

This isn't the first set of metal ice cubes that we've purchased, and they seem pretty much identical to whichever other brand we purchased before. That's good news, because they work great. The reason we originally started using these metallic ice cubes is because the ice cubes in our fridge would get a nasty taste to them from absorbing all the odors of the fridge and freezer, and that nastiness would be transferred to the drinks when they would inevitably melt. Once we found out how well these metallic cubes worked, we decided to get more so we wouldn't have to clean them so often. Not that they're hard to clean by any means, we're just lazy. The stainless steel material somehow prevents the absorption of odors. We haven't had these new ones in the freezer for more than a few days yet, but the older ones have been in and out of the freezer for months and they haven't absorbed any odors so I don't expect that these new ones will either. A plastic storage case and pair of tongs are included, though the tongs don't have a rubber grip on the ends like our other ones. It doesn't really matter too much as both tongs seem to grab fine, but I do like the feel of the ones with the grip a little better. The cubes all have rounded corners so there's no sharp edges to poke you or scratch the glass. You get 8 cubes with this set and you can use the ice tray to make 8 actual ice cubes. Since the tray has a lid they shouldn't absorb any freezer odors, but we haven't tried it so don't hold me to that. If you have the same problem with ice fouling up your drinks that we did then you'll be happy with these.

Very happy with the product. Having a case to hold them in the freezer as well means they don't get easily scratched. Little tongs mean you don't have to handle them after you e washed them and popped them into the plastic case. Delivery time was adequate.

A few of the cubes came with the colouring already rubbing off but otherwise very solid.
