His Highness, Steven the Bad, is eleven years old and has no teeth. We fought mouth infections for more than two years and the doctor was concerned about kidney failure because of the medication he was taking. I decided to move him from the store brand wet food we were giving him to this and he loves it. He wants four cans a day and whines when he gets told no. He’s gained back all the weight he’s lost and now seems to be determined to get fat.

I have changed to a far better Canadian food for my cat. The top half were okay, my cat would eat it. The lower level food was bad. My cat would vomit and refuse to eat. I wasn't saving money if I had to throw most of the lower level away.

Getting a cat like mine to eat the best veterinary-recommended kidney food can prove to be a problem. I have tried the best, but this Purina Pro Plan 4 in 1 can is the only canned food she will eat. She likes both the tuna and the salmon flavors. And she eats every bite. A life-saver. (Incidentally, it was suggested to me by a vet tech whose own cat proved to be difficult to satisfy, too.)
