P50 Pro had a strong performance while testing.
I’ve been using the P50 Pro Ultra for several days now, and overall I’m really happy with it. It arrived quickly in MOVA-branded packaging, and everything was packed well, so there were no concerns about damage during shipping. Setup was straightforward with minimal assembly, and the quick-start guide made things easy with clear instructions and helpful images. I had seen some reviews mentioning issues with the front wheel arriving broken, but mine had no problems at all right out of the box or during testing.Once I got it set up, the first thing I noticed was how sleek it looks. The white design is clean and modern, and it fits nicely into the room without standing out too much. Replacement parts are easy to find and reasonably priced compared to other robots in this range, which is a big plus long term.Connecting it to the MOVA Home app was quick. I just scanned the QR code on top of the robot, and it paired within seconds. It started mapping my home right away, though it only came with about 25 percent battery. I decided to fully charge it first to make sure it could complete the mapping without interruption, which took about an hour. That actually worked out well since it gave me time to clear floors for better results. The quick mapping of my 2,000 square foot home took about 20 minutes. The first map was a bit rough, but it was still usable for setting rooms and starting clean cycles. That’s actually better than some other robot vacuums I’ve owned that needed multiple full runs before producing a usable map.One feature I was unsure about at first was the mop setup. It doesn’t have a cover and instead uses a lift function. I was concerned it might drag a dirty mop across carpets or leave things wet. That turned out not to be an issue at all. During mapping, the robot automatically removed the mop, which I really like. I prefer vacuuming and mopping separately, so being able to fully remove the mop is a big advantage. It also means I don’t have to wait for pads to dry before running a vacuum cycle.Noise levels are low enough that I ran it overnight without it waking anyone up. I showed the noise levels in the video, see 1:18 for the vacuum and 1:49 for the mop. We did close the bedroom door, but overall it was quiet and not disruptive. By morning, the floors were clean with no streaks or signs of leaking from either the robot or the base. It also handled pet hair well without leaving piles behind, which anyone with multiple pets knows can be an issue. One thing I noticed is that it uses more water when mopping than other models I’ve owned. My home is about 70 percent tile, and it uses the full clean water tank on a moderate setting. If I increased the water level, it likely would not finish without needing to refill the tank mid-cycle, so running it overnight for mopping might not be ideal in that case. That said, it still uses less water than I would with a traditional mop and is far more convenient. After several days of extensive use, I’ve been able to try out more features. The app is very customizable, which I appreciate. You can adjust cleaning preferences and schedules, and even lower the robot’s voice at night or pause it during certain hours. The connectivity between the vacuum and the app is great. I can open the app at any time during a clean and know exactly where the vacuum is and what it is doing. It may be compacting hair or boosting edge cleaning. If there is a problem, it will audibly let you know and also send a notification to the app.The built-in camera is another interesting feature. It’s useful for checking in when you’re not home, like making sure you didn’t leave something behind or checking on pets. There’s even a “find pets” mode where it moves around until it locates them. It also supports two-way audio so you can talk through it. It announces when the camera is active, which helps address privacy concerns. The video quality isn’t amazing, but it’s more of a bonus feature and works well enough for what it is.I also tested obstacle avoidance by intentionally leaving a room messy with clothes, paper, pillows, and dog toys. It handled most of it better than expected. It avoided my charger and even navigated around loose paper without running it over. It got close to a sweatshirt but didn’t touch it. It did lightly bump a back stretcher, but nothing aggressive. Overall, I feel comfortable letting it run when I’m not home, even with some clutter around. The vacuum has yet to get stuck on anything, even with extensive use.For pickup testing, I scattered some small dog kibble on the floor. It picked up most of it on the first pass, though a few pieces got pushed out of the area by the brush arm or into spots it had already cleaned (see video). That’s not something I would rely on regularly since my pets take care of dropped food anyway, but it was still a solid result. The vacuum has great suction at 19,000 Pa, which is a noticeable jump from another robot vacuum that I own. At a $500 price point, I belive this is worth it compaired with top tir for robotic vacuums offered currently in the market.Pros:* Fast shipping and secure packaging with no damage* Easy setup with clear instructions and minimal assembly* Sleek design with a clean white finish* Replacement parts are easy to find and reasonably priced* Quick and simple app pairing using QR code* Fast mapping that is usable right away* Ability to fully remove the mop instead of just lifting it* Quiet enough to run overnight without disruption* No streaking or leaking during mopping* Handles pet hair well without leaving clumps* Highly customizable app with scheduling and voice control options* Built-in camera with two-way audio and pet-finding feature* Announces when the camera is active for privacy awareness* Strong obstacle avoidance, even with clutter* Picks up large debris like dog kibble effectivelyCons:* Initial map is a bit rough and may need minor adjustments, though it improves with time* May not complete mopping in one tank at higher water settings or in larger spaces* Camera quality is basic and not very high resolution, but it works well for what it is* Small debris can sometimes get pushed outside cleaned areas, requiring a second passOverall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase. It handles daily cleaning well, has thoughtful features, and feels reliable enough to run without constant supervision.

Broke the second time I used it.
Update: The replacement was delivered yesterday evening. I tried setting it up this morning but it won’t connect to the base which means it won’t charge. I’ve tried everything. Also this replacement one makes a weird ticking noise when it drives that the first one didn’t make. Not sure what is causing it but it doesn’t sound good. At this point I’m gonna have to say if you’re thinking about buying this I’d consider spending your money on a different one. Bummer because the one time the first worked before it broke I was really impressed.Right now I have to give this a 1 star but we’ll see if that changes after/if the issue gets resolved. First of all it was very easy to set up and the first time I used it did great and I was very happy with it. However, that all changed to disappointment the next day when I used it again. It was vacuuming our living room when out of nowhere the little front wheel broke completely broke off which made the front drop down and scrape across the floor. I immediately contacted Mova. They kinda just passed me around to a few different departments. They told me they will send a return label for me to to send it back then after they have a specialist look it over they will determine whether to send a replacement or not. If they send a replacement it will be delivered in 5-10 business days after the ship it. To be honest I’m not very happy about this. For the amount of money spent on this and have it break the second time I used it and now I have to wait AT LEAST two weeks (getting the label shipped to me, shipping the vacuum back, having them determine it is in fact broke, then 5-10 business days to have a new one delivered) is not satisfactory.

Extremely happy with our results
We've been talking about purchasing an automated smart vacuum/mop for years but we were very hesitant to spend the money some brands were asking. As an alternative we purchased a Bissell Crosswave Pet for temporary use because of the reviews. The Crosswave sufficed but it's mediocre performance, noise level, and the necessity to use it manually hindered our overall needs. As a family of 6, 2 Alaskan Malamutes, 2 cats, and both of us parents working, our time is very limited. Prior to purchasing our Mova, we were Crosswaving 2 times a day and on the weekends sometimes 3. As time has gone by the technology improved dramatically and we were again looking for the one. Thankfully we came across the Mova P50 Pro Ultra. The features of hot water being dispensed, 2 independent extending rotating scrubbing pad arms(plus application pressure), rotating sweepers, and powerful suction caught our very skeptical eyes. Upon receiving it we were amazed by the size and weight of the box. Close to 50 pounds, but it seems like close to half of the wieght was the amount of thick cardboard used to keep it secure and safe during it's travel. The dock is smaller than what we expected which is a plus and the size of the reservoirs are adequate for our daily needs of 700 sq. ft., 2 times a day. A vacuum after we leave for work and a vacuum and mop 2 hours before we arrive home. Having a dust bag compared to a container to dispose of the vacuum remnants is also plus, not having to deal with accidental spills or inhaling dust or debris when emptying.Connectivity is a breeze as long as you have a 2.4 ghz wifi band. The app itself is very informative and highly customizable for our needs. Being able to return to areas it was unable to during its regular rounds helps as sometimes the dogs like sitting in one place in the way, watching the Mova do it's thing. This is where the camera and mic come in handy to help scoot our pets out of the way. The camera isn't exactly for capturing memorable moments as the quality of the picture is average but it does it's job reliably. The app also stores the history of the Mova's routine , noting what obstacles were in the way of its path(as well as a picture) to help you address it for next time or possibly ignore.Mapping is very accurate and detailed, which you can divide and name rooms that are not separated by entry ways within the app. You can also choose between a 2d or 3d rendering of your map depending on your liking. One feature I found that can be very helpful is the ability for it to drop or use the scrubbing pads which are held in place with rare earth magnets and a hexagonal shape, thus eliminating wet pads for vacuuming carpet and increasing it's bottom clearance even though it is able to climb over different heights.I could go on about the app's features but as I go over this review, it would probably be better suited for a video to go in to full detail. I hope this helps in some way to make your decision easier because looking in to each feature for every brand is a rabbit hole in itself. It is expensive and we treat it as such so hopefully it will last much longer than the factory warranty.

Early impressions
I purchased this product as a replacement for older iRobot products, and selected this model based on recommendations from several other sites. It appears I received a unit that had been returned to Amazon for reason(s) unknown. (The user manual was packaged in a Ziploc(tm) bag, which was a dead giveaway.) However, the unit was well-packaged and properly protected in shipping, and functioned as anticipated once unboxed and set up. Obtaining the controlling app needed only scanning a QR code located under the unit's lid, and Wi-fi setup was as easy as any other device I've worked with in the past three years.Initial mapping of the house took about 20 minutes total, and was reasonably accurate, although there was no automatic floor-surface detection. Editing the generated map using the app was straightforward. An initial test of cleaning the kitchen area provided excellent results. The unit was quiet in operation, cleaned well, and detected obstacles properly. The test area was about 186 square feet, and a full cleaning cycle of vacuuming then mopping took about 20 minutes total. The robot returned to its base station to empty the dust collection bin and fill its fluid tanks between the vacuum and mop cycles. The app clearly showed what the robot was doing at all times, as well as its location. Cleaning the test area required only about 9% of battery capacity.Status announcements from the robot are all in English, but are sometimes too quiet to hear from other rooms, so if an error message is generated, it may take a look at the app to find out what that error might be.The app shows battery status in near-real-time, but does not show levels of cleaning solution, fresh water, or waste water in the docking station, so they need to be checked manually on a regular basis. The sample cleaning solution bottle the unit shipped with filled the docking-station reservoir about halfway, and the user manual did not give any indication of how long that amount of solution might last, so ordering more cleaning solution was a necessity. Other replacement accessories such as dust-collection bags, rotating brushes, and mop pads are hit-and-miss on both Amazon and the manufacturer's site, with several items showing "out of stock" as of this writing. The app is reasonably intuitive, although some functions, such as manually emptying the dust collection bin or initiating a mop pad wash cycle, are buried in third-level menus. Still, those functions should only rarely be needed during routine use. Accessory lifespan is also reported in submenus, but checking those on a monthly basis should suffice. The unit appears to be readily and easily maintainable. The on-board dust filter is washable, as is the trap filter in the mop-pad washing area. One YouTube reviewer recommended spraying the inside of the waste-water tank with mouthwash to reduce odor, but a good dish soap should do just as well.Four out of five stars, only because I have yet to encounter any product, of any type, that deserves a perfect score.

Mova Produces the BEST!
I’ve been using the P50 Pro Ultra for a while now, and overall I’d absolutely recommend it, especially if you want a mostly hands-off cleaning setup. The biggest strength of this robot is how complete the system feels. The dock handles just about everything including auto emptying, washing the mop pads with hot water, drying them, and refilling. Once it’s set up, you’re not constantly dealing with maintenance, which makes a big difference day to day.Performance has been strong across the board. Suction is more than enough for daily debris, pet hair, and carpets, and the mopping actually does a solid job instead of just pushing water around. Edge cleaning also stands out since it gets closer to walls and corners than most robots I’ve tried. The app is another area where this really shines. It’s very robust and gives you a ton of control. You can customize cleaning by room, adjust suction and water levels, set schedules, create no-go zones, and fine tune how it behaves in different areas of your home. It’s one of those apps where you can keep things simple or really dial things in if you want to.One of my favorite features is the automatic mop pad removal. This is a big deal for me because I’m pretty cautious about keeping rugs and carpets dry. Instead of relying only on detection or lift, it actually removes the mop pads when needed, which gives me a lot more confidence running it without worrying about moisture getting where it shouldn’t.Navigation has also been reliable. It maps quickly, avoids obstacles well, and doesn’t get stuck often. It feels consistent, which is really what you want in a robot like this.Comparing it to the V50 Ultra, they’re honestly very similar in everyday use. Cleaning performance, automation, and overall experience are close enough that most people would be happy with either one. The main reason to go with the V50 Ultra is if you need better threshold climbing or have tougher transitions between rooms. It handles those situations a bit better. If your home layout is fairly standard, the P50 Pro Ultra will do everything you need and feels just as polished. If I had to point out any downsides, they’re pretty minor. Like any robot vacuum, it’s not perfect with every obstacle and you still need to pick up small items like cords from time to time.Overall, this is a premium robot vacuum that actually delivers on the hands-free experience. If your home doesn’t require aggressive threshold climbing, this is an easy five star product.

Great way to keep your home clean!
We have had this robo vac and mop combo cor a little over a month now. See below:Cons if you can call it that:Could do better on edges and for some reason it avoids the bathroom shower mat every time, but goes over the smaller one by the sink without issue. It could also do a little better with "obstacles" we have a wire kennel that is near a cabinet, there is plenty of space for the vac to go between but it does not even bother.Pros:Absolutely does a very good job vacuuming and mopping, the mop heads even after a month of use smell fresh and look new. We have 3 Australian Shepherds so I still vaccum at least once a day with my stick vac. But the floors are always clean first thing in the morning. We let ours work at night when everyone is put up, mopping is done 3 times a week.My floors are visibly cleaner looking and feeling, I have cut my chores in half! I no longer have to mop my floors back to back! Win win!Absolutely zero issues with the water reservoirs leaking (others have reported this), the debris make it to the bag just fine so no complaints there but would love to see a Bayless option at some point. The brush on the robo vac works great and I have not had to do to much clearing off entangled hair or tufts from dogs.It operates super quiet! Also there are so many options and features its crazy, I am using some of them.It also gets firmware updates and never had any issues in updating.I may need to get one more for upstairs! 😅👌🏻If you are on the fence with this one, don't be! If it can survive a farm house, complete with 3 hairy dogs, active family it will do just fine for an average household that does not revolve around farm life.Hopefully this one lasts, thats my only concern as I have it working pretty hard around here.

Worse Robvac I ever owned
Stay away from this vacuum. First 3 months this work perfectly, then it started to double the map so the vacuum thinks there is another area it needs to clean but it can't get to it because it doesn't exist. Its fixable by deleting the map but I have done this 5 times already.New on is it works on a job and needs come back to docking station to charge, empty, etc. It goes up the ramp, and then immediately states looking for docking station. Then it goes back down turns around a few times and then back up the ramp. Repeat this multiple times and then it goes into standby mode.I will update if they fix this but there is no way I would recommend this to anyone.

The best robot vacuum at its level
Okay so I was a little skeptical about spending this much on a robot vacuum but my wife really wanted one so we got the Mova P50 Pro Ultra. Gotta say it’s pretty cool. The suction is strong, 19,000Pa sounds like a lot and yeah it picks up everything. We got two dogs and the anti tangle brush handles the hair way better than our old vac. The mop function is actually useful, not just a gimmick. It lifts up on carpet so no wet spots, and the dock washes and dries the mop itself which is nice cause I dont have to touch dirty mop pads. The auto empty bin lasts a while before you gotta change it. App was easy to set up, my wife figured it out in a few minutes. It’s a little noisy when it’s emptying but not too bad. Honestly it’s nice coming home to clean floors without doing anything. If you hate vacuuming and mopping like I do, this thing is a lifesaver.
