I was amazed by the quality and sturdiness of this measure

These are made pretty sturdy, but the makings don't start at the ends. There's a gap before increments start, definitely not useful for Luthiery work. The price is too high for what you are getting, not satisfied, wish I would have gone with a better company for better markings.

It is a time saver.

I make 30-50 mitered picture frames a year. I always need to find the center line to mount the sawtooth hangers. I also do many signs and need center lines to center the patterns to my wood before scrolling. This is quick and much easier to use than a tape measure to quickly lay out center lines. Glad to have it, and it is saving me time to layout on my projects.

Easy to use, the scale is very legible for “old eyes” now that I have it I’ve found several uses while doing projects. The metal thickness is a little thinner than I expected, not nearly as thick as a ruler on a sliding square.

Love it. Exactly what I was looking for. I took a pass on similar rulers that weren't etched or didn't have a hole at the end so it could be hung up. The only thing that would have made this ruler better is if it had rulers on the back as well as the front

I've been doing woodworking and hobbyist projects from my teens. Now that I'm retired I have more time for projects. I should have bought a centering ruler a LONG time ago! This ruler is 1 -1/4" wide; the bottom edge has a regular 24" ruler, and the top has a centering ruler extending 12" left and right. Just be aware that this ruler's markings do not start at each end. Measurements start and end about 1/4" from each end. This is a must have!

Very study stainless steel ruler. So far, the marks have not made a disappearing act as they did on my previous ruler. Highly recommend.
